A group with multiple ACEs, how could they not stand out in the current gen. We know that Chiquita is learning how to rap and who is helping her? ACEsa. Too bad that Chiquira's rap debut was cut from SHEESH but I think now everyone is expecting it on the next album that is coming out in Sept/Oct. We also know that Rami and Pharita can rap to a certain degree but they are just not focused on honing their skills at it right now.
It is insane to think about how much growth that they had just in the past 6 months. Think about where they were with BATTER UP and now with FORVER. We knew that they were monsters but seeing them grow in both age and performance is a little scary.
Can we also say that the biggest growth that we have seen is with Ahyeon's return? While some people may not have liked Ahyeon being in the group, she is the catalyst that brings the group together. I think that they still would have been successful without Ahyeon returning but it might have taken more time for them to really get their identity and I feel that his song is really a BABYMONSTER song. My hope is that this song will finally quite down the haters that YG is just giving BABYMONSTER rejected/recycled songs from BLACKPINK or 2NE1.
Lets not forget that Ahyeon puts alot of pressure on herself to succeed and catch up to the other members. She missed out on their pre-debut Batter UP, then Stuck in the Middle. So she has been putting 110% effort into Sheesh and Like That. So far some anti-fans have been putting her down and calling her an Overperformer. But she works hard and her efforts show.
I agree with everything you said. And Chiquita, according to YG has the highest potential. I am seeing it in her dance and the effort she puts into learning how to rap. People criticize her for wanting to be like Lisa, but right now she has every right to learn from the best in the business! Lisa makes an excellent role model and if Chiquita follows her hard work and tenacity she will end up being successful in her own right. Last but not least, at least 5 of the 7 members of Babymonsters all chose to join YG because of the Blackpink influence!!! so.... saying that Chiquita is the only one who is trying to copy Lisa is a cop out. Just because she had bangs and bleached blonde hair, she has since changed up her style. All members of Babymonster in some form have been influenced by Blackpink and they all hold Blackpink in high regard.
I just hope that one day.... we can see Babymonster perform on the same stage as Blackpink!!!! That would be a dream come true for US fans as well as the members of Babymonster!!!
Dance Performance is Friday 7/5 at midnight KST so if you're in London you're 8 hours behind Seoul so this will drop around 4pm in the UK on Thursday 7/4.

This song & video are gorgeous…in fact, it’s a bop, it’s a banger, it’s hard, it’s groovy, it’s a vibe, it’s old school, it’s a party, it’s stunning, it’s nostalgic, it’s fresh, it’s glamorous, it’s creative, it’s swag, it’s classy, it’s retro, it’s incredible! YG wanted Pharita to spread her wings🦋 in the pre-debut videos, as well as continue working on her power ⚡️ … she delivered and then some! But they all 7 truly did! From Ruka goofing an eyebrow lifting “whisper” in Ahyeon’s ear , all the raps 🤯 (with that Canny dance!), the vocals, harmonizations, it is incredible! The start = the end…it’s a loop…forever!
