I agree about JYP. On Eyes Wide Open, "Handle It", another song written by Chaeyoung is my favorite song on that album, but honestly, I think the whole album is amazing.
I totally get what you mean. For the longest time, I felt I didn't vibe with Twice's music including a lot of the early title tracks. But then I found the song that really drew me in (Perfect World) and they've had such an evolution in their sound that there really is something for everyone. I definitely recommend Twice's more recent albums if you keep up with this Twice journey. Formula of Love is a major vibe with some of my all time favorite Twice B-sides (FILA, Last Waltz, Espresso) and Taste of Love is extremely high quality summer music (Baby Blue Love for me on that one).
For me, subjectively, Formula of Love was the best full album, and Between 1&2 for EP. But special mention to Taste of Love, cause that is a strong contender for best EP objectively

Speaking as a once since debut I think no one gets Twice until you hit the one song where you 1000% understand the hype all of a sudden lmao! Given how into Queen of Hearts you were I highly recommend their live clip of the song! It shows off a lot of their personality & vocals ofc! 🌸💘
I think maybe some people were disappointed because in my opinion the title tracks you reacted to by them aren't their strongest. I feel like Feel Special, Fancy, and TT were the songs that really put Twice on the map globally and are really iconic Twice songs. Their earlier title tracks are super catchy and cute (and they were super popular in Korea and Asia), but not exactly my cup of tea as an American listener. That said, you definitely should not be forced into something you're not feeling, so I totally get that. I hope you give some of their other iconic title tracks a chance someday, but no rush :)
The earlier song choices were not aiming for the western audience I think. Two of the members were like just turned 16 when they debuted? So basically half of the group were like underage or just turned 18. But I’m glad that they have so much diversity in music and how versatile the girls are, their growth is crazy :)

I really like the idea TWICE is doing making Chaeyoung and Momo as a duo rapper and Dahyun becoming a vocal. My girl Dahyun has a really Sweat voice and she could shine because of that. Her voice is BEAUTIFUL. ChaengMo they slayed with the raps. I love DubChaeng rap but I see Dahyun more as a vocal her voice suit it. Basics showed us how her soft voice is very usefull

I love your reaction!!!, I get what you mean by not vibing with their title tracks but when you feel like it or when you have time, I recommend checking out their other recent albums as well since they have loads of songs that are VERYYY different from their title tracks and you know,, you might find songs that are within your personal tastes ... My personal recommendations is Eyes Wide Open and Taste of Love since I love them so much and I feel like you'd vibe there more, but you can go at your own pace with whatever.. Man this is my first time in my channel and you got me hooked with your reactionss.. Consider me another subscriberrr

I think with twice bsides, if you want to look at the lyric videos, randomk is the best option. That way you can see who does the adlibs too in addition to more accurate distribution
