I try to keep it 100% - beginners really need to learn the how, what, when and why. As the channel grows I'll strive to maintain that bite 😜

Sure thing. It’s important to know the skull structure before drawing hair. Hair tutorial incoming though.

A lot of people use like drawing a box for the head. They say it's easier to stylize it. Do you think drawing a box is better?

I think it can go either way depending on the desired outcome of the style, the artist's level of comfort w/ the shape, etc...
I've always chopped off the sphere, but I'll try it with a box for the next video!

@@beginnerdrawingcourse yeah I've taken like some colosso's courses. A lot of manga artists do the box method or they just draw the head in the box to visualize the perspective more. For me, I guess either way works. There's a million way to draw stuff in art like if you don't get it one way you get it another way.

Some of those Coloso courses look dope (I'm particularly interested in Sungmoo Heo's class)
I'll have to steal those techniques and make them beginner-friendly late this year or early next
Still, half the fun of learning or pushing one's skills is trying to develop and test new methods for drawing and art-making. I appreciate your inquiry as well as you sharing some of your journey.

@@beginnerdrawingcourse yeah, colosso's courses are great from the ones that I've taken I'm also interested in that particular one. I got like a list of a bunch that I want to take in the future and they keep coming out with new ones all the time. I'm still just a beginner but I definitely want to keep improving.
