i think the car is only releasing the throttle when you depress the clutch pedal while on cruise control. Correct me if im wrong, but I highly doubt the car will rev match for you on downshifts.
They do and I have them on my car but it’s because it’s a real factory built msport car, from factory it has m badges in the interior of the car such as the steering wheel and the manual 6 speed shifter so why not put it on the grill because it is a m car

Probably a little high but I have heard plenty of people getting over 200k miles on these cars without too much trouble. So far haven't had ANY issues. Did a couple small mods. Put in an M shifter and changed the pedals to the aluminum BMW racing ones and I had the car coated with OptiCoat Pro ceramic coating. The car was always garaged so the paint looks mint. Dunno what other mods I should do. Any suggestions?

One question, I have no clue what kind of oil she put in the car but she said she did have it changed right before she sold it to me. In that situation what do you think you'd do? I mean I kind of want to go Liqui Moly or Mobile 1 but is that a bad idea if the car has had regular oil it's whole life up to this point? Thanks!

This past June makes 4 years that I've had it now. I live in the same town as my job so I don't put a lot of miles on it. It still only has 95k lol. I've only put 12k on it (3k a year) I also tinted the windows because it is black on black and it gets HOT in the summer. I haven't had any issues aside from having to change the battery and water pump. I got both of those from FCP Euro so lifetime guarantee on both. I went ahead and changed all the coolant hoses including the "mickey mouse" flange as preventative when I did the water pump. Also FCP is only like 20 minutes from my house because I live in CT. I still change the oil once a year even though I only drive 3k miles lol. I ended up using AMSOIL FS because that's just my preference that I've always ran in all my cars. Other things I did right away were changing the plugs and coils, engine air filter, cabin air filter, new fluid in both diffs, transfer case, power steering fluid/reservoir (which was weeping a little) and the transmission fluid too. BMW claims those fluids are all "lifetime fill" but I changed them all anyways. I asked ZF about the trans fluid and they said you should change it every 60-80k miles so I trust them more than BMW who wants everyone to buy a new car instead of maintaining the one you have lol. Honestly the car drives just like new still and I could probably get back what I've put into it considering the prices nowadays, but I have no interest to sell because the car has been so good to me.
I am 16 as well and I have a 330i from my mom. I love it and as long as you are able to do simple maintenance or have someone that can help it’s a great purchase. The N52 engine is extremely reliable.
Mine doesn't have a boot lid keyhole and that exact scenario happened to me - I stupidly closed the boot after disconnecting the battery whilst doing some work. Thankfully BMW provide 2 terminals in the engine bay so you can hook up an external power source, and then the electronic boot release will work.

I drive a UK spec facelift E91 and it doesn’t have that hill feature. Must be for the American market. Yet to try the rev matching feature but I doubt it has that either for the same reason.
The real reason for the battery to be in the trunk is the battery type. Its AGM battery and it cannot be as warm as engine bay gets. All cars have them outside the engine bay.
I'm buying a 2005 320i e90 with 70,212 miles on it two ones last owner looked after it really well regular serviced. I'm putting 2008 3351 BMW convertible 18inch rims on it. Can't wait. Can anyone recommend what else to do to it like lowering it or putting body kit on it or exhaust? Plus can anyone tell me what are the main issues to look out for in this model. I appreciate it!

An issue with trunk key can also be tightness, and I thought it was not going to open, or worse break the key.... but pushing down while turning helps, also remember the emergency exit pull handle you can reach from ski hole.

My steering angle sensor light will periodically stay on which prevents cruise control or DTC from working. BTW mine is a 2007 E90. Thanks.
In the lock under the cover mat there is a pull string for emergency to open it manual. I have made a small hole and passed the iron string. So in case your trunk doesn't open you fall back the passenger' s car seats and you pull it....I don't know why they removed the key hole in the facelift version...
I have a bmw 325i 2006 . recently i had oil flow into my coolant reservoir. We changed the oil filter housing gasket because it was cracked and broken we also changed the electric water pump and sevral coolant hoses , the car runs fine and doesnt overheat it just keeps gushing the water back after a while i can run the car for about 5 minutes with a full water tank before i need to get off and put more please help guys btw there is no more oil in my water reservoir . thank you guys.

the main reason for the battery being in the back, protects it from heat. on some BMW's they took out the key, so that hack wont work, i.e. 1 series
You can manually open the trunk from the inside. You can fold the back seat and you have a latch you can pull.

Stereo is an Eonon GA7165. Now as far as modding goes... it's all personal preference of what you like.

Mine must be broken; shifting while cruise is set is a fairly violent affair. The clutch disengagement/engagement is pretty rough.
This shifting shouldn't be done during acceleration. It should only be done when the car is up to speed.

My 2011 E90 328i doesn't have the trunk hole haha. They took it out after 2008. I had to jump my car to open the trunk.

There are only a few things you can do because it is naturally aspirated... not much to upgrade for performance. Try a spring booster though!

A correction to the E90 battery thing. On E90 facelifts (like mine) does NOT have keyhole for the trunk. So if it closes...then its closed.
