Bro just came out of nowhere and dropped the biggest bomb in the history of GTA SA Beta research. It's just crazy to see all of this, I can't believe nobody found it before!
This stuff has been known about for many many years.
The sheer amount of early content seen in these videos is nuts. The placeholder GTA Vice City cars, early NPC models, CJ's old walking animation, the completely reworked Mulholland safehouse and lots more

Man I forgot how extremely Orange obsessed color palette Original GTA San Andreas is. Is like Rockstar took inspiration from 1980s-1990s Tony Scott movies
I think its a good thing it makes the game have a unique atmosphere and texture
The game was developed foremost for the original Xbox, with bloom effects and shaders and the such unavailable for the PS2. The iconic orange haze is actually the result of a glitch. Probably the best looking glitch of all time.

@@fredster594 Yeah, go take a look at the original Xbox version. It’s more blue skies and less sunrise. Los Santos looks quite different. The Xbox versions of GTA III and Vice City came out a while after the PS2 ones. They redid the character models and car models. Improved shadows and textures. All kinds of stuff. Similar to how they rereleased GTA V on next gen.

I remember that we used to buy pirated gta in my country because of the expensive price and some modded copies came with trailer 1 being shown before the game for some reason

It was a big project so Rockstar probably didn't have enough time to make any footage behind the scenes, it was also rushed near the end.
Development began Autumn 2003, after the release of Manhunt. The Game’s name came to fruition Holiday 2003 on forums from the day, and the game was officially announced March 2004.

And yeah, the walking animation in the Aug '04 videos SUCKS. Glad it was changed by the time the September footage came around, although I do love the car sounds in the September footage.
Would be epic, Obbe Vermeij (Former R* dev) tried this on an online blog (tinyurl.com/gtasadev) a few weeks ago, but R* devs were mad about it because its "ruining the Rockstar mystique" so i think we will not see such a thing soon 😕

The crash theme is original for this game and you can’t find the actual version anywhere but in this video he used an fl studio remake you can find it on RUclips

Im actually skeptical that gta 6 will still pass this one. While i hope it does, i doubt it because they might focus on making it too realistic instead of actually fun like san andreas.

I don't think the HD universe and the 3D universe can be directly compared. Both had their own strengths and weaknesses. Although I do hope GTA VI does have more side activity, especially the kind that actually gives you some money, on top of having things to use that money on. The biggest flaw in the HD universe is the lack of a proper gameplay loop of getting money and buying weapons, and losing them after you die or get arrested.
@@pyro934 The leaks weren't/aren't a good representation of the final game. It was slightly modified GTA V test gameplay tho.

John Marston's animation is broken in epilogue just like his appearance and anim. John's real walking animation is in RDR1. I'd recommend installing JMRP to fix his anim and appearance

I wish Rockstar Games have also published Beta version along with the final of the game like TF2 and TF2 Beta which Valve made.
