Biggest lesson i learnt in 2023 in the stock market is that nobody knows what is going to happen next, so practice some humility and low a strategy with a long term edge.
Nobody knows anything; You need to create your own process, manage risk, and stick to the plan, through thick or thin, While also continuously learning from mistakes and improving.
Uncertainty... it took me 5 years to stop trying to predict what bout to happen in market based on charts studying, cause you never know. not having a mentor cost me 5 years of pain I learn to go we’re the market is wanting to go and keep it simple with discipline.

Unfortunately that’s not how business is ran. Many clients probably miss out on billions of dollars because he was bullish in 2022 while the market was tanking. Then in 2023, he was bearish when the Bull market started.

It wasn't just that he was wrong, go back and watch him on tv in like Oct of 2023, he was very confident of a coming bearish 20% pullback. Like ok that is your take, but why was he so strong in that opinion?
No, that's never been what he said. He specifically said it wasn't imminent. Learn to read. I doubt his leaving is related to this call too
Mistakes and failures are Absolutely Inevitable now and for a long time, in these conditions and in the market now....Real and realistic volatility is almost non-existent now....

Nobody can consistently make the right market call, everyone has been wrong more than twice.
Sometimes having your face buried in charts and technical patterns can blind you to what's really happening. Double tops and parabolas etc. look scary on all-time charts, whereas if you just watched price action you probably wouldn't have the same fear.
So he may have been guessing all along.If the stock market is random he must have been. It was a nice run for a while though.

Every time I see Jamie Dimon talk he’s constantly spewing bear rhetoric about how geo political tensions and national debt are going to bring the market down, what was his call in 2022 that the market was heading for a major storm of a recession and black clouds ahead ? So if he’s been consistently wrong and bearish it’s kind of ironic they oust one of their analysts who is too.

It's OK to be wrong, but it's not OK to stay wrong. Unfortunately all the strategists tend to stick to their calls, even if wrong.
In the other hand, the traders have no choice but to correct their wrong calls in time, otherwise they go broke.
His approach is more like the hedge fund one - speculating on the positioning, which influences but doesn't determine (!) the intermediate-term trend.
Finance job is tough. You better self-insure if you work in this business.
