The Newman LS-1044DB Double Box Shavings Machine is designed to process softwood logs into high quality shavings for poultry and horse bedding.
The LS-1044DB has two eight-foot log boxes and four high speed steel cutterheads powered by 75 HP motors. The Cutterheads are mounted in motorized yokes that can be ejected from the machine at the push of a button for more convenient maintenance.
The LS-1044DB with its heavy-duty 1-1/4” burnt plate frame, innovative cable drive system, and proven Newman cutterhead technology is designed for years of vibration free production under adverse conditions.
