If you go above the water you still see the storm so maybe the device absorbed the storm and released it to stop the tsunami this would also explain why jonesy said about it being stabilised but he didn’t know for how long

Fortnite is a simulation for people living in the "real world" (save the world). They use it to practice for the fiends, but people are getting caught in a loop, where people lose their voices and become playable characters in battle royale. It was the goal of "the seven" to destroy the br world. They all failed until the last one finally destroyed the orb in loot lake with the meteor, causing the black hole, but it only created a new world, which new characters like Midas are trying to get their voice back and destroy. But people like suit Jonesy want to keep it as normal and keep everyone in battle royale.
I can already see it coming: “Playing the whole game in the water, Victory Royale!”.

In the office parts someone outside mentions the loop the scientist talked about in season 10. And says "its not just a storm it shouldn't of acted this way" or something like that.
I have a feeling that the office there is an agency outside of the island, they run the whole island like the hunger games, u see files of lynx the engineer and Midas, they r kinda people who r glitches in the system or sumthing or atleast they break the rules and ruined the island and thier trying to get it under control

There’s a theory that when jonesy says “how long do you think it will hold” he’s talking about the storm, the storm will eventually collapse releasing all the water onto the map

ThickLenny yeah, or henchmen, with the potential of the storm being contained but it couldn’t be due to the fact that it was freakin strong, and it was not being contained until Midas went full power mode, considering this and the fact that the henchmen made the ocean storm, the storm will in fact push back the water, causing the water to flood the map and the only places safe are the high level places and the no sweat insurance places will be safe
