Just fyi! Those pinwheel chip things are not pork rinds. They’re called Duritos! Generally made out of flour :) you eat them with tapatío, chamoy or Valentina and add salt with lemon or lime juice. Sooooo good!
I work at at the Pacific Wharf at all the locations and its so funny seeing my coworkers in your video. I used to love the bahn mi before they took it out, but the chicken sandwich is my new favorite. Also, fun fact, boudin bakery does make the bread for the chicken sandwich. I always add cheese to my ramem when i eat at home. That is the same meat and consome from cocina Cucamonga. They removed the corn chowder a while back. Also, sadly they will be getting rid of the classic deli sandwich when the new menu comes out
15 years ago one of our favorite eats in DCA was the spicy Korean beef bowl at Lucky Fortune Cookery. It was developed by then Napa Rose chef de cuisine Gloria, who is of Korean descent, based on her family's recipe. We learned this from Chef Gloria herself at the Chef's Table. It was the best and actually spicy! 😋 Looking forward to all the new eats (especially the birria ramen!) and drinks (melon cocktail!) and meeting Baymax! Thanks for a great foodie report as usual, Peter and Kitra! 😊
The new food looks so fantastic! I've been super excited for this re-theme and after the reveal of Baymax I'm just super hyped. I think my favorite part of the re-theme is the Ghirardelli, with all the Kanji inside it's such a cool European-Japanese fusion vibe that i'm living for!

Every time I go to Disneyland, I might make it to DCA once, and I may or may not eat there. But watching you show off the land, that's pretty cool.
I'm SO excited for you guys to visit Japan! I didn't do Disney but it's one of the friendliest, easiest to travel, countries on earth!! The sushi is better in the PNW (yes really) but if you can get Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki while you're there (Osaka-style is good, but not quite as), definitely do it! One of the all time greatest meals I've ever had, the kind you think about 13 years later at the mention of the word Japan!
It's good to try new foods even you don't think it sounds good. Bonito flakes are dried out and shredded. They're pretty good on rice, japan has a lot of seafood so u better change what you don't like about fish.

Those are shrimp chips that they mix with pinwheel chips! If kitra likes them they sell them at the costcos here in LA in garlic butter flavor. I love how they’re mixing Mexican and Japanese flavors together it’s very on brand for a SoCal park to bring Hispanic flavors into the mix.

@@OrdinaryAdventures I'm one of these people who is quite boring when it comes to food. I like "English/American" and Italian food but I'm just not very adventurous when it comes to food. Don't get me wrong, I've tried it in places when I've had no other choice but I'm just not keen.
I'll have to try the Karage chicken. I did try the Birria ramen on monday. I really liked it BUT it seemed rather one-note to me. The Birria spicing is so strong that you dont get any other flavors. mind you its a good Birria flavor. With the tacos or sandwich you at least get some contrasting textures there. Wish I had known about the lids - i powered through to eat the whole thing OMG. I sure hope the Bread Puddings show up somewhere else. Maybe Mendocino Terrace or Flo's.... The seasonal treats were such a highlight for me.
I love Big Hero 6! It's one of my top Disney animated movies, so I'm SUPER jealous you get to have San Fransokyo at your local park! I'd love to see them do something at Disneyworld with it, but I know that's probably a long shot. 😭 Always love the food reviews! I'm also surprised the Lychee Tea + Coconut went so well together, I wonder if the consistency would be a bit too weird haha. 😆
Ordinary Adventures Star for Battlebots reference. I've got friends who participate and have been to the last couple TV tapings. I'm a huge nerd for both Disneyland and Battlebots.
I love street corn. I love bonito flake. I don't think I'd love them together, but those duritos look fantastic! Also, even though you're going to Japan, they do have a lot of non-fish options so you don't have to be super out of your comfort zone. Look out for Omurice it's like a fried rice omelette!
The "pork crips” are called Chicharrones in Mexico!!! I’m Mexican and I LOOOOOOVE chicharrones, with Valentina salsa, SO FREAKING GOOD!!!!! We always eat them as like snacks, at parties, bars, and there are actually people selling them in parks and outside schools, they prep them with Valentina and lime and salt, it’s so good, you should totally try it!!!
It's so hot where I am i really don't want food, but all the good drinks make me want to hunt those down. I've had the lychee drinks in Epcot the drink I tried was the one with the marbles you have to pop. It was pretty good.
If you want to try Japanese cheesecake before it arrives in DCA; visit Santa Anita mall and try Uncle Tetsu. Also visit Mitsuwa Marketplace in LA or Orange County so you can get a feel of Japanese food and culture

@@OrdinaryAdventures Thank you thank you! We're coming that last week take my sister for her first time ever and so excited to see her experience it all!! Can't wait to see your videos once all the Halloween stuff comes out!
I always call that place Rancho Cucamonga 😂 Great video as always 💙 Would love to see a golf video from you guys 😉🏌
What kind of golf?
@@OrdinaryAdventuresAt 15:10 you guys had an Ad for improving your golf grip in the top right of the video so I thought maybe Peter has been taking some swings 😂 😎 ⛳️
The Ghiradelli picture is amazing! I probably would stand staring at it until the earthquake!
I'm not a fan of Chinese food but some of that looks so good.
Why don’t you like Chinese food?
@@OrdinaryAdventures I'm one of these people who is quite boring when it comes to food. I like "English/American" and Italian food but I'm just not very adventurous when it comes to food. Don't get me wrong, I've tried it in places when I've had no other choice but I'm just not keen.
The food looks amazing!
It was!
YEAH, A NEW VIDEO 🎉🎉🎉
Yay!
It all looks so yummy! 😋
🙌
I'll have to try the Karage chicken. I did try the Birria ramen on monday. I really liked it BUT it seemed rather one-note to me. The Birria spicing is so strong that you dont get any other flavors. mind you its a good Birria flavor. With the tacos or sandwich you at least get some contrasting textures there. Wish I had known about the lids - i powered through to eat the whole thing OMG. I sure hope the Bread Puddings show up somewhere else. Maybe Mendocino Terrace or Flo's.... The seasonal treats were such a highlight for me.
The Birria ramen is very strong but I think it is very flavorful and especially when you Mia it up it’s not just one note
I didn’t think the consistency was too weird just didn’t like the taste
It hot over here in Pennsylvania too
It’s sooo hot
@@OrdinaryAdventures I almost pass out bike riding in this heat but I'm okay now
Peters face when he looks at the corn 😂😂😂😂😂
Haha
Yas!!! Represent the bay area Kitra! I’m from Marin/SF! I lived in West Portal!
🙌
P's "My God" for the ramen bowl was definitely a real one y'all. I can't wait to try that LoL!
Hope you enjoy
Oh, I love ramen 🍜 guys!
Ordinary Adventures Star for Battlebots reference. I've got friends who participate and have been to the last couple TV tapings. I'm a huge nerd for both Disneyland and Battlebots.
🤖
I love your guys' opinions on bites 😊
Thanks
I love street corn. I love bonito flake. I don't think I'd love them together, but those duritos look fantastic! Also, even though you're going to Japan, they do have a lot of non-fish options so you don't have to be super out of your comfort zone. Look out for Omurice it's like a fried rice omelette!
It was a weird flavor that I’m not sure many people will want
Talking about battle bots + seeing all the new delicious looking new foods especially that beef birria ramen🤖🍜💕
🙌
The "pork crips” are called Chicharrones in Mexico!!! I’m Mexican and I LOOOOOOVE chicharrones, with Valentina salsa, SO FREAKING GOOD!!!!! We always eat them as like snacks, at parties, bars, and there are actually people selling them in parks and outside schools, they prep them with Valentina and lime and salt, it’s so good, you should totally try it!!!
Thanks for the info!
That ramen looked so good, but more like a stew than a soup 😋now I am hungry!
It was so good
It's so hot where I am i really don't want food, but all the good drinks make me want to hunt those down. I've had the lychee drinks in Epcot the drink I tried was the one with the marbles you have to pop. It was pretty good.
It’s been very hot here lately.
If you want to try Japanese cheesecake before it arrives in DCA; visit Santa Anita mall and try Uncle Tetsu.
Also visit Mitsuwa Marketplace in LA or Orange County so you can get a feel of Japanese food and culture
👍
You called it! They def made the Baymax shaped bread. Also shoutout your gf, I’m from the Bay Area as well!
🙌
We have a food truck in town that makes birria ramen. I’m obsessed!
Soooo good
