Same 4th! Almost hard to imagine how folks do this, but weirdly do love the vlogs… with a glass of wine, gotta say 🥹 (I had a plastic mask one yr as a kid, but it was a cute puppy 😉)
We went there a couple years ago, and that was what inspired me to improve our front yard Halloween decorations. Midsummer Scream is just the best, for all kinds of ideas. Thank you guys for sharing.
Glad you had a great time! I wanna go to those so bad! I love Halloween, and I can’t wait to see all your Halloween events, including HHN and Knott’s Scary Farm!
You guys! What a fun video!!! This place is freaking amazing. I’ve never been to California and it’s on my bucket list - adding this convention to the list right now. Thanks for sharing the fun!!
I went on Sunday and mainly went to the panels and did some shopping inbetween cuz I wanted to save waiting in line for HHN lol Nice to see what the mazes were like! Awesome vid and stay spooky💀✌
Glad you had such a good time! The Straite to Hale haunt was awesome, but my favorite was Wicket Manor's haunted mine. It was fun seeing the convention through your eyes (and I even caught a glimpse of my husband & myself in the background when you were filming Jack (in the Box) and Wendy(s) Torrance).
Thanks 😊 we try really hard to make it all look good. Also the haunted house footage was shot with a better lens than the rest of the video (the rest was shot with a zoom lens) so you might have a great eye for things!
@@OrdinaryAdventures yeah, I watch a fair amount of Theme Park/ travel RUclips channels and I think your film quality is the best:) I think your coloring always look natural, and it just looks so crisp, if that makes sense💜
What an awesome Con, with so many different and unexpected things! I am one of those rare people who loves Halloween but is not a big horror fan, but I think I would enjoy a lot of this event nonetheless! It seems a more chill way to encounter the horror elements. Will have to try and attend!
I had no idea this was going on. I always miss the dates on this. I also missed getting the tickets to Knotts Scary Farm preview on August 24th. I love those sliders. Such amazing performers.
This stuff makes me so happy. I love how much care and attention and dedication people put into everything at the convention. Everyone seems so happy. Really hope I get there one day.
-Randomly attended this last minute with family. Moving forward we're making this a must attend every year 😁👍 The Grave Keeper from Disneys haunted mansion- absolutely mind-blowing to see in person! The work on the whole ensemble left me speechless.
i've never been to midsummer scream but i hope to one day! Loved that you showed so many different booths; helped me discover some new shops to follow :)
Yes!!! One of my favourite things is to watch Kitra go through haunted houses and I get it early this year! That looks like my type of convention. I would spend so much money on the Ghostface stuff. It did make me laugh hearing that air horn in the background of so many shots.
You guys were there??? I LOVE watching your videos. I wish I would have ran into you. I was there all 3 days. I LOVE the Halloween community. I used to do a Home Haunt myself and now do a cool Yard Display. Midsummer has always been a great convention to connect with others, great merch and so much to do. Now that I got my Spooky Vibes going from this weekend, planning this Years Yard Haunt. Oh BTW, the Strait to Hale Production Haunt is put on by the Winchester House up north. In fact, some of the Haunt set at Midsummer had actual pieces from the Winchester Home. If you travel up north this haunt season, that would be a fun one to see. Happy Haunt Season! 👻🎃 LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!!
I had a C-3PO costume when I was a kid. After using it for several years, the paint on the mask was almost completely gone and the mask was basically clear. I want a new one!!! 😁 Thank you for taking us on your "Ordinary" Adventure! 😁
I loved how it looked like you were walking through water in the Straight to Hale house! I always enjoy your videos but especially during spooky season!
Wow this was sick!! I wish i knew this was happening so i could have gone. I was counting the amount of times i saw Art the Clown. You guys are prepped for HHN and now i'm prepped for this next year!
Ha this is an ongoing joke on our channel. Like 3-4 years ago Kitra mistakenly called Witch Minnie Mitch Winnie and we’ve been calling her that ever since 😂
@@OrdinaryAdventuresah that’s what I get for being a newer subscriber!!!! I’m staying at Knotts Berry Farm for two weeks in October, first time in California from the UK, hope to see you guys at one of the parks!
Oh my goober, this looks incredible. The vintage horror tapes would occupy hours of my time, alone. Kitra, your screams in those mazes are always hilarious. Can't wait to see this year's Knott's Scary Farm! [The shells being put in backwards in the Shotgun collar at the Saw Experience annoyed me to no end.]
Man, that whole thing looks absolutely amazing. Halloween is one of my favorite times of the year, and a Midsummer's Scream looks like so much fun! Wish I was in CA, I'd give it a go. I actually have that Ghostbusters Terror Dog from Spirit Halloween. He's a big dog, but he doesn't eat much. Mainly criminals and demons. I trained him right. I'm offering him to one of the local theaters for their lobby display when the next Ghostbusters movie comes out (next year! GRRRRR!). So glad you guys were able to share the fun with us!
I went last year and loved it yet a little overwhelmed. I think next time I go I’m going to get the whole weekend pass. There is way to much to see in one day!!

I grew up in SoCal and had attended Haunt every year from year 2 until I relocated to Indiana 14 years ago to help out my parents. I have flown back 3 times to visit my son and do Haunt 4 times since moving. I had Haunt down to a science and passed that knowledge on to my son. We used to have people we met waiting for the rope to drop actually ask to join us and use us a guides as they said they never got to see and do everything. I know you guys probably won't be there on the 28th but would love to meet you! We will be at the Disney parks on the 30th and Nov. 1st as well.
So funny, I just vended a summer Halloween con on the same weekend and saw some of the merch that you guys showed! Not for sale, but like guests wearing them. Definitely saw a couple of those toad bags!
