Seen the thumbnail while at work. Knew it was ChrisPfish you were with. Never disappoint. You guys are great. Suggest a little competition . Like one rod
The Olive Rockfish, would be my first choice. Very similar to Yellowtail Rockfish , more common in Southern CA. Fillet perfect with no waste. They were locally called Johnny Bass.
The back up plan usually works out better than original plan. You will catch the Norcal BFT soon Adam. If you don't mind fishing with me, there is a space for you on my boat.
You’re not getting those mad mac out there nearly enough 100 count at 13 miles an hour legitimately a quarter mile of line they’re very boat shy Sharp turns occasionally keeping the lure out of the bubbles
Neophyte question...is there ever a concern of hooking up on a dolphin? And, I had no idea you haul arse like that trolling! Do bait fish actually swim that fast?
not bad, last year i got a bft that took me 5hours on a trinidad12 haha fckn bass gear 😂😂😂😂 come on down to long beach for lobsters bro!!!! 21’ center console we can even do it commercial!
They need to learn, trolling !!! Your boat is moving to fast ... Trolling is 5 to 8 knots ... Which is slow .... Just fast enough for the fish to bite ... Good luck to your 🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣
@@fishwood7645 I worked a commercial fishing boat .. And we caught tuna trolling the same way you troll for Kingfish.... Best learn for a guy whose a lot older then you young man
My cousin and I have a saying…
Tuna bite 2x’s a day…
Before we get there…
And after we leave 😂🍻
That was so true on this trip! haha
Beautiful video with all of that mist around the boat.

Good job hanging in there. Fish for the species you want then take home what decides to cooperate 🤙🏼
Love the Bora jig. That's my favorite. Great job guys!
Pretty Cool …. fishin with Chris p Fish … I watch both your shows .. .. Nice Ling ..
Once the closure of near shore rockfish on Sept 1. Gonna need to hit the 50 fathom and beyond.
Ooh, a North River, great boat.
My friend has 22' with the same set up, 225 hp Yamaha & 15 hp kicker. Tons of room with the sea drive engine mount. I love that rig.

I was just going to type... I can't believe he's not keeping that olive!
I agree those are great eating!!!!
Beautiful weather & sea to start out.
How big is that north river? Your the only fishing show I watch anymore because you & the show are real, keep up the good honest vids.
I'm not sure exactly but I would guess 20-22 feet long. Plenty of fishing space in the back for the two of us!
Chris and Adam they are catching bluefin outside of san Francisco!!!!

Tried again yesterday but no luck, sounds like it was an off day. I'll be back out there again soon!

My 2 favorite fishermen in 1 video,Sweet!!😅awesome job guys!!
Thank you!
Really big ones!!
So, you seem to slay it way better off your kayak, closer to shore for those ling and bottom dwellers. Sorry no tuna on the trip, but that's fishing.
adam, that was a Johnny bass (olive) they are delicious.
Awesome sight seeing tour Adam. Congrats on the fish
Thanks 👍
Sick ass rig but no descending device? C'mon dudes
Great video!
May not have caught your target, but still a fun day of fishing. Way better than being stuck in a cubicle. Tuna's in your future. 🤙
Next time!

Nice job Adam, as always great videos 👍🎣
Thanks 👍
How deep were you fishing ??? at least 500 right?
I’ve seen people poke a hole in the side to deflate the fish then they swim back down.
How does one catch and release a dead fish?

This must have been Tuesday 8/22/23. The ocean was a lake all day and close to no wind. Doesn’t happen often in Bay Area/ NorCal region 🔥
I think this is the first time I have seen Chris get outfished! What was the jig you were using?
I believe it is called a "Bora Jig" from Pit Bull Tackle

I can't believe y'all don't have a descending device
you can easily make one with a coat hanger and weight..
@josephsaeteurn9158 in some states the FWC gives them out for free
Surprised it's not a legal requirement in Commiefornia, tbh
I think it is now since they've removed the depth limitations....
@@MrAcuta73it is a legal requirement
Fishing the islands?
Which islands are 100 miles off Northern California?
Why would you burn my secret lingcod honey hole. You gotta blur out that background Adam 😂
Second comment ur my fav channel

They make decending devices. NOAA was giving them away free at the fishing shows this year.
Should be mandatory aboard any boat fishing deep
Yep! Not a bad idea to carry one if you plan to go deep water rockfishing
62 is cold for fishing out here. I like seeing 65+
DESCEND Act. Js make sure yall buy an actual venting or descending device.
Please when are you going to do catch clean and cooks ????????????😢
I just did one!
take your word for it? sure ok.. you haven't lied to us before, have you? lol

ChrisPfish aint a offshore Guy. Not his thing.. Inshore? He's Great!.
i hate fishing that deep.. every fish will need to be descend down..
Mad kudos to ChrisPfish for taking us out with him
come on guys, get a real descender, you can make them yourselves easily enough and cheap enough, dont need to be ripping up fish to 'save' them
Great video!
Thanks!
