Here we replace the ignition switch in my 2011 Ford F250. I have had the new battery go dead on me a few time and hop it might be related to the ignition switch going bad.

Does the new ignition switch come with new keys for it or is this a separate piece that I need for the key since I have no key for the truck I’m buying.

Bummer you don't have a key... but no, this is just the ignition switch. You will need the ignition lock cylinder and keys, then the keys will have to be programmed. Good luck.

I had this code and changed out that part and it did not fix it. When I turn my key on my dash lights flicker and a clicking sound comes from the engine compartment and no start. I tried the passenger side fuse box where the clip is coming loose and that's not it either. I'm at a loss.

In my Ford F150 MY'13 have the same issue with code B10F1-14, but everything works normally, alarm when door open etc... anyway i replaced the Ignition Switch sensor as on the video and I still have the same error code, any idea what is it? In error procedure are only two cases, one when no alarm of door open when key in ignition or another alarm warning without key in ignition. In my case works normally allarm when door open and key in ignition, only error code...
UPDATE - the problem was with ignition key cylinder. The cylinder was loose and when it vibrated, it sometimes lost contact and the computer recorded an error.

I have the same issue (code) with a 2015 Fusion. Most of the searches though only yield the F150 but I went ahead and changed the ignition switch like in this video, also to no avail. The code when cleared came back. Everything seems to work though.

Not that I remember. Everything acted normal except for the code and battery kept dying.
