    Dave is the Louis Theroux of electrics. Everything is clearly spoken, and expertly explained, so that everyone can understand it. Even chatgpt can't do a better job with it's AI. Learn Electrics is the best on RUclips. :)

    Hi Dave. Many thanks for this. When wiring the valves, should you indicate the grey "switched" lives in sleeve as in any other circuit? Thanks. Mark

    Hi. Do you know if it’s. Fail,in your am2 exam if you put a 13 amp fuse in?

    • @learnelectrics4402
      @learnelectrics4402  4 месяца назад +1

      I wouldn't fail a student for that if the student could explain why they had done it, or better still, explained why they had now decided that 3A was better. The assessment is all about - Does this chap or chapesse know what's going on? Could I leave them alone in my grandmother's house and know that they will do a good job?
      Certain things, like not isolating and locking off - definite fails.
      Hope this helps.

      @@learnelectrics4402 thank you so much for replying. My son was given two 13 amp fuses and one 3 amp. He read the specification and it did not st state what fuse to use. So used the 13 amp. He did not have a chance to explain why he did this as he left the exam room. And then realised when he returned home he had put the wrong fuse in. Everything else was correct.
