- On my business trip to Nagoya, I had a walk to Nagoya castle.
I started from the western side of Nagoya station and passed through it before walking around the business center. Then I got to the area with some old buildings which brought me to a market street. Going further to the east I got to the remains of an ancient defense wall with a moat. The castle area was next to it.
When I entered inside of the castle walls, I found people dancing on a wooden stage with drums. August is the month of a festival called Obon. The day of the festival depends on the area, though Nagoya castle had it on the day I was there. People were dancing even it was drizzling.
I checked the castle, but it still was closed due to reconstruction work, so I headed towards Shiyakusho station. The remains of the sun made the clouds in the west appear to be burning across the sky. Meanwhile, the drizzle made a double rainbow in the east.
Did not notice any cat 😿

Nagoya Castle was founded by Tokugawa Ieyasu in 1612.
In 1610 Tokugawa Ieyasu ordered for the construction of Nagoya-jo to show the pride of the authority in Owari

My first visit was march 2020 as well. Nagoya Castle was the last place I visited before going back to Tokyo to take my flight home. Can’t wait to go back!

Well, I don't see anything special in Nagoya city. There are some interesting places around it though, and it's close to Kyoto and Osaka.
@@Rambalac It all comes down to the people, the friendships, the atmosphere. I don't care if a city has nothing special if the people are really open, friendly and the girls are awesome ;)
For many people, the destinations for getting off the Shinkansen from Tokyo are often Kyoto and Osaka. So sadly the nickname of Nagoya is "getting off halfway" ...
This one should’ve been titled, “Double Rainbow Over Nagoya” - the footage starting around 58:49 stopped me dead in my tracks and made me forget what I was doing. I had to watch it twice. Stunningly beautiful. 🌈🌈🥲

You'll often see stray cats around everywhere until you want to film one. The overgrown playground kinda creepy.. The weather is quite calm and chilly there too I see. Thankfully, no flood. This walk video are very tranquilizing. Great work.

I put your videos on my second monitor and let them run in the background while I'm working. It's great when I'm doing a particularly boring task to be able to look up and escape to a back alley in japan somewhere even if its just for a minute or so.

Was in Oki from 2011-2014, attended Obon Dance at Shuri Castle in Shuri, Okinawa. Amazing event, long storied history behind it.
I love how quiet and relaxed is the Japanese matsuri. In comparison, the Greek panigiri (Greek matsuri) is loud, like really, really loud!

The historical park of the beautiful fortress, with a song and dance festival with the joy of the public and as a closing clasp that sky of magnificent clouds tinged with gold by the last rays of the sun and nothing less than a wonderful Rainbow, perhaps waiting for you to go to look for the chest with the gold coins?... :-)
maybe it was very hot in the park of the fortresses that is why the kittens did not leave their cool shelters🐱

When I start to miss Japan because of globally closed borders, I turn on a fresh walking video. I see that everyone, everyone, everyone walks in masks in the open air. Even more, they do it correctly, covering their nose. And I stop missing Japan.

Rambalac... you should make a bitcoin wallet for receiving tips of Bitcoin or ethereum, everyone could just send any amount for support you know. These videos are just too good man such a great quality, not that you need money, but it would maybe give more opportunities for various other trips or places, new ideas maybe an equipment upgrade "can't imagine if it can even be possible to get better than this" or i don't know... just be aware that i'd be sure to send a few bucks every now and then :3 and many others too!
