Esoteric was actually what brought me to Dolorian. It all started with Draconian and Evoken. I don't think I'll ever find atmospheric black/doom metal of this quality ever again. Dolorian is the sound of my soul.
Wise Ferret Well, I discovered Unholy recently and their Gracefallen album reminded me of Esoteric. Great gothic doom stuff too. Also try The Gault - Even As All Before Us

I would bet they want it this way. I mean these albums from dolorian are so sublime, so inexplicably good, that's the only answer when it comes to why there are so little viewers etc. I mean they could easily have been great monsters playing in great festivals etc, but apparently they like remaining silent, in the shadows of the mist, where they truly belong. I've never ever listened to something so gorgeous, yet so catastrophically full of grief. Undoubtedly a gigantic master piece. All of 'em albums
Cuz it's doom metal. Doom metal is supposed to be slow. Previous album was black/doom and less boring as you said. Imho both are -in fact including Voidwards- great albums nevertheless.
This is the best music I've ever heard in my life. I'm completely obsessed with the dark psychedelic melodies of Dolorian.

Anybody know where I can get albums for this band? Their dreadfully hard to find. The only one I could find, Voidwards is 200 bucks.
The 2001 album you can find on ebay 27$ used. The 1999 album can be found on amazon 20$ used.

Dolorian is almost totally unique in their use of clean guitars. I have searched and not found anything like it.
