Holy shit, I just realized that the board game for the Compost King is literally a miniature version of Oscar's actual farm! The thing that makes this a major comparison is that green thing on the left of the board game, which Oscar uses in Volume 4.

Because there was so much going on, and I can only pick on so much in the moment.. I get it after the fact, but that was also Yang's last line during her Yellow Trailer.
MurderofBirds Right, but with this, she was looking into the men's locker room when she said that. She also so amplified the LONG in that joke than when she did in the yellow trailer.

Fun fact: did ya know? All the shorts in episode 21 were actually comic strips done by fans of the show. They received the story and writing credits for their respective works.
"Friend Forever" was based on a comic posted on Tumblr by Icha Hamkim.
"Letter to Winter" was based on a Dumb RWBY comic (tumblr) by Youngjin Hur.
"Checkmate" was based on a comic posted on Tumblr by Kin Zaibatsu.

finally episodes 21-24 ive been waiting ages for this thank you so much for finally giving us this Murder and the last 4 episodes are fantastic and i still love the dance rehearsal scene from 23 because im an actor and that's literally what dance rehearsal days feel like to me lol especially nora at the end

Compost King is actually depicted in Volume 4 Chapter 1. It's on a piece of farming equipment next to Oscar with the initials CK and a crown over the letters.
Romans little "Ahhh" as he melted is hilarious.
I wish he was still around though, he was such a good villain, his roman candle weapon and how his clothes is candle was and his hair is the fire. whenever I watch videos of outfit inspirations no one ever brings up Roman basically being a giant candle

Glad you finished it. Amazing what can sneak into a bunch of comic skits, no? ;) Makes you wonder what Season 2 will bring for fun bits. Plus a lot of mangling of otherewise serious drama scenes.
Best part of Chibi: Jessica Nigri actually emotes when voice acting.
Chibi Oscar just has Ozpin always talking to him, I even imagine it just zooming in on into his head and Ozpin's just sitting on a chair and stuff.

The great part about 22, people think the Compost King board game was foreshadowing. Especially cause I think the Symbol for the game is on the barrel Oscar turns in one scene, its upside down though because of the way he's turning it. It's like a crown and maybe some letters.

I've watched and re-watched the entire first season of RWBY Chibi, and I'm honestly starting to think Neptune, on some level, is bisexual, or bicurious! He dresses fashionably, is somewhat more open about his feelings, insists on having guy time with his best friend, wants to do manly stuff, likes Musical numbers (and may or may not dance well) etc.
You guys are open to discrediting this, but it's just an opinionated theory!
The space and time one has a lot of little mini jokes while she's tripping. There's one with Jaune and Neptune with "scripts", for instance.
