Margaret- any inks will work for this technique. Just choose bright colors for the first parts and then a darker ink- black or dark brown for the 2nd part after debossing. I also used a dark navy blue.
No I don’t think so? It has been years since I did Joseph’s Coat though…this is a pretty new technique with 3D or regular embossing folders on the back side with ink.

Those ink pads are so juicy. I only have distress, not oxides. But I want to try this! I like them very much. 👍🏼
