- Filming for the Harry Potter movies was not all fun and games! It was hard work, and these were the strict rules that the entire cast were forced to follow! Many of these rules were set in the contract, like the rule about not being able to change their hair, which was one that both Emma Watson and Tom Felton struggled with. Still other rules were more a matter of respect, however, like the time that Alan Rickman asked Matthew Lewis not to touch his BMW! Daniel Radcliffe struggled with his fair share of the rules too, although Rupert Grint was able to find a way around the rule against contact sports by taking up golfing with his on-screen Weasley brother, Oliver Phelps and James Phelps! Jason Isaacs tells us an embarrassing story from set, wherein he asked David Yates if he was allowed to take a copy of the Daily Prophet and was met with an interesting response! J.K. Rowling set her fair share of rules during filming too, and her suggestions even had an effect on the type of cast that Warner Bros. was considering at the time! In fact, Chris Columbus was once considering Liam Aiken, best known for Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, for the role of Harry Potter!With so many hijinks and rule breaking going on behind the scenes, it makes us wonder what we can expect to see from the cast on the upcoming HBO Max reboot of Harry Potter?

That’s oddly in character for them; Daniel is proud of his small essay, Emma does 16 PAGES, and Rupert didn’t do it. The actor does not choose the character, the character chooses the actor it seems
Some of my favorite “Take-Aways”. Ryan Reynolds took one of the Deadpool suits from the set, which they said wasn’t unexpected as he is the embodiment of Deadpool. Johnny Depp got a couple of his Jack Sparrow costumes and the Jar of Dirt (granted both were given to him), and a number of the Lord of the Rings actors also kept some of their props as well, including the One Ring.
I cannot now unsee Liam Aiken as Harry Potter!!! He looks just like Mary GrandPré illustrations!

You can't blame the production for a live outbreak. Schools don't use any combs brushes or scissors on students. They still have major live outbreaks. Of course it could happen on a set full of kids. If they didn't take it seriously they could end up with a bunch of expensive props infected. Not a good thing.

Ohhh sorry guys I watched it in theatres.... back then we didn't have big cinema complexes with many big screens and rooms in our town only two local and old buildings with one screen for each but still it was a great experience unfortunately I didn't have any friends interested in it so I usually watched it alone or with my sibling and cousin like the 3rd movie....or my mother offered to go to the final movie with me... it was so nice of her .... and I even played with a thought of going to the London premiere..... but it was hard cause I'm from Czech Republic not UK.... so it didn't happen.

Surprised they were so strict about Felton's hair but not Radcliff's. I don't know how many times the book mentioned Harry's "jet black" hair, and yet they were fine with it being brown in the films?
He was also allergic to the contacts too. He was supposed to have green eyes. Instead it made it red and puffy.

the series is going to be so much better then the films, there won't be directors making movies the way they want to cause the books will be the framework not their imagination
If u did a good job on the set and movie and the role act. If only u ask nicely maybe they consider it. Like we all need a catch and a deal and some type of reward. It's like Elijah got the book of Bilbo as a gift after his last role coz I think he totally deserved it. If I was a director and my fellow actors did a great job I would let them take 1 item that belongs to their character.

It's right that Harry Potter's actor should have British accent because he lived in Surrey, England ever since he was a baby. So, actor shouldn't use American accent. It's better to choose Daniel Radcliffe. Plus he really looks like Harry Potter. 😘😘😘
In that case all American movies such as Ben Hur, The Ten Commandments and many more shouldn't have existed ! In the Antiquity Romans didn't speak English but Latin or Greek.

The rule which surprised the most was being British to act
Well it's all down to the Yanks not being good at a British accent they're notoriously bad at it atleast Verne Troyer provided the body for Griphook (yes just the body he wasn't the voice)in the first movie. They were some other Yanks who made it in like Eleanor Columbus daughter of the director of the first two films who played a recurring minor character (I don't even think she had any lines lol) in the first two movies as Susan Bones she was just there though. The only other example is Zoë Wanamaker who played Madam Hooch she was born in the Yanks country but grew up in Britain hence qualified.

Some people are bad at other accents, some are better, some have more time and training to perfect them and some don’t. Stop with the weird bias.

Weird fact for some unknown reason the only area in the entire world that Lice is a thing is Europe well sense well the 1990s and early 2000s. The rest of the entire world has not had any word at all of lice for over 20 years except Europe and Japan.
This is just completely untrue… In Australia we get frequent lice outbreaks at schools and daycares every year. I’m very confused where you got this fact from.

Daniel's acting was trash when he got older now it makes sense , he was smashed out of his mind.

So stupid that they would make a big deal about "stealing" props. I mean there obviously has to be a limit in place but surely they were ok with some things being taken. Especially things that were mass produced like the wands.
I think it was stupid that Alan was told to put back the paper when they had thousands made and also had the permission of the director before even taking it so really it should have been ok.
