It's satire dude! He's taking the piss of all these new welding videos/groups and channels that show and try to teach how not to weld. The jokes gone over your head.
Lol you obviously have no sense of humour and I bet you punch the like button on sll those instatatok welding videos that 6061 was just taking the piss out of 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I personally refuse to watch "shorts" and further refuse to comment on those who do. Aaron, you keep on keeping on! Your true fans appreciate every single one of your vids.
If This Old Tony taught me anything, you have to score it with a pick and add water. Then spray some WD-40 on it to displace the water and the pieces will just fly apart!
I recognized all the short welding videos that show up in my feed. You summed them up perfectly, though I'm impressed with some of their cutoff wheel skills. The finger wagging was spot-on, too.
That finger wagging doesn't stop with shorts. It appearance is increasing on some of the more legit How-To creator's vids. instant turn off for me! And I DO NOT watch shorts. I consider them an insult to intelligence.
The comedy in this made me smile out loud. 😊😊. You asked a while back if anyone was interested in watching videos of your lorry repairs and modifications and I definitely would like to see that.
OK!!! So when is your debut on the Comedy Channel going to air?? I laughed my ass off. Cutting the paper towel with a sawzall blade had me on the floor.
Ha! Love it. Here's a little tip, run the grinder in reverse and the cut off disk won't load up. What! You say your grinder doesn't have reverse, just flip the disk over.
I was a professional thumb wresler for 13.125 years, and my trainer always pushed the importance of finger calisthenics. When I won the the US Open in 2003,I went 3 rounds and won a unanimous decision over,Ken Filangie. He was 96 years old at the time, and I whipped him good! Thx
It was amazing that you remembered to cut out that first notch. You didn't put X's on it! How did you remember? Just outstanding workmanship I guess. I'm still baffled.
Almost fell out of the chair when you brought out the chipping hammer!😂 Guess i will have to upgrade to Premium, i dont get the “Pro” feeds you are referring to lol 😁. Keep up the good work and Be Safe!
If you ever get tired of being the badest ass tig welder on the planet, you could definitely make it in comedy. I totally understand your point and that's the reason I only watch true professionals like you. I appreciate you sharing your knowledge !!
Im glad you’ll never see how I did ALL that dumb stuff. I also, somehow, Continue to do dumb stuff. Thank you for your videos. This is great for anyone trying to fabricate.
I'm feeling so conflicted right now-it's both funny and painful to watch. Then, it hit me how sad it is that so many people actually fall for the terrible content out there.
I love all of it! All those little details like the thick marker, the grinder without guard, the marking everything three, for times back and forth instead of one line, the wagging finger, over complicated “solutions” that actually make your part a lot worse… I just can’t 😂😂😂
Frigging awesome. 🎉. Love these smart ass retort vids. The index finger wag... Oh damn. Spot on. Only thing you're forgetting about is the "air trace" motion of what you're going to weld first. God that crap is awful.
What makes it funnier to me is this is literally how I cut sheet metal and stuff at work for “body” work and stringers. Doesn’t need to look good just needs to work and pass highway patrol inspection.
Trouble comes when wrong priorities are set. They have: 1st: Aesthetics 2nd: "Fanciness" ... 6061st: Structurally sound As with anything else, showing off has it's limits. Also, it's easier to show off doing ludicrous stuff than making propper stuff, since you'll have no previous comparison and your target audience have no knowledge to know any better...
I am just a beginner at TIG, but today I learned that after a MIG job, stick a tungsten electrode in my Lincoln Buzz Box stick welder and hit the work in a couple of spots.
That dropped off cup must be one you used melting aluminum to cast, I've seen a dude at work get one glowing red and the torch smoking and as it cooled the face fell away like that
Of course you weakened the structure of the Holy tubing. You didn't mark the centre line on the inside and notch it out properly with a pickaxe. And you definitely didn't get anywhere near enough ceramic flecks into the weld. Now your allooominimum is going to rust.
Well that sawzall blade was surely the wrong tool. You gotta use the nail embedded wood blades so they wont get dull when encountering a knot in the material!
i love that one.. like we're all just sitting here trying to gatekeep all the good info from everyone haha. youtube is stupid now, thankfully we still have people like Aaron fighting the good fight
WTF is this? Is it meant to be humour?
Brother, I usually like your vids but this is ass.
Come back when you're in a better mood. It may hit differently.
Thanks for watching
@ Yep, probably right. I was ready for wisdom and tips and well….
It's satire dude! He's taking the piss of all these new welding videos/groups and channels that show and try to teach how not to weld. The jokes gone over your head.
Lol you obviously have no sense of humour and I bet you punch the like button on sll those instatatok welding videos that 6061 was just taking the piss out of 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Did you watch to the end? It's all explained...
Aaron - this video is hilarious! You NAILED so many of the traits on the RUclips Shorts!
I personally refuse to watch "shorts" and further refuse to comment on those who do. Aaron, you keep on keeping on! Your true fans appreciate every single one of your vids.
I died when the cup fell apart 😂
If This Old Tony taught me anything, you have to score it with a pick and add water. Then spray some WD-40 on it to displace the water and the pieces will just fly apart!
also don't forget a well placed karate chop.. you know; for when it''s just quick general purpose fab and you don't need precision!
@@vanguardcycleThe karate chop - always the right move, unless you need to make little squares
Then you just push your work piece through a wire mesh
I recognized all the short welding videos that show up in my feed. You summed them up perfectly, though I'm impressed with some of their cutoff wheel skills. The finger wagging was spot-on, too.
That finger wagging doesn't stop with shorts. It appearance is increasing on some of the more legit How-To creator's vids. instant turn off for me! And I DO NOT watch shorts. I consider them an insult to intelligence.
OOOOOH, 'finger wagging'. NOW i get that 🤣🤣🤣
"Most don't know this amazing welding technique"
I hope you are wearing your sandals.
It’s not official if he doesn’t have sandals or bare and no table.
The comedy in this made me smile out loud. 😊😊. You asked a while back if anyone was interested in watching videos of your lorry repairs and modifications and I definitely would like to see that.
LMFAO !!! I have been a machinist/welder for 45 years and since joining the 6061 website I am learning new stuff. Love it! Thanks, Aaron.
Since they removed they dislike counter stupidity does get rewarded.
Yeah, you can only leave snotty comments, which still rewards as they only count the number of comments not the damning content!
I hate that wagging finger trick. This is comic gold.
I've always enjoyed your humor.
“Stupidity getting rewarded”. Ain’t that the truth.
The greatest satire of "handy welding tricks" short/tik tok videos. Also love the part when you moved the proper tools out of your way😂
OK!!! So when is your debut on the Comedy Channel going to air?? I laughed my ass off. Cutting the paper towel with a sawzall blade had me on the floor.
The 👍🏻 and wagging 👆🏻had me rolling!
Aaron on Kill Tony. with his pipelined lid engaged. this is what the world needs 🎉
I've been a comedian for 40+ years......this has finally convinced me to be a welder!
I'd pay money to see this comedy show in Vegas!
So glad you did this. Videos out there over complicate stuff. Common sense not common anymore! It's a damn shame!
Try not to laugh... Impossible. Thanks for the humor!
Who thought a welding video could be so much fun! 10/10🤣🤣
Your welding is coming along nicely. 😂😂😂
Dripping with sarcasm..what a BARBECUE!
I dont'know who your making fun of but I bet they won't figure it out. This was great!! Sarcasm is my friend.
My God at 2:16 that looked like a cookie monster tap with a tig glove!!😂😂😂.. This is some damn good content!!
I can't stop laughing. Well played sir.
Ha! Love it. Here's a little tip, run the grinder in reverse and the cut off disk won't load up. What! You say your grinder doesn't have reverse, just flip the disk over.
Easier to flip the operator over and reduces the chances of cross-threading the reversed disc.
Man I had no idea you were into sarcasm and satire at this level. ROFLMAO!!
Only thing missing was the open toe "safety" sandals.
Or, as AvE calls them, "Jesus boots"...
Dude... if the welding thing doesn't work out for you, I'll be happy to pay for tickets to your comedy show.
My doctor said I needed more roughage in my diet, your channel is just the thing!
Guess I'm not getting the "pro" videos in my feed.......... LMAO!!!!!!
golden. have never witnessed Aaron being stumped. we are grateful to hear his inside “thoughts” as he troubleshoots and ultimately excels. 😂
Thx
Outstanding. Comedy gold.
Thank you for the finger wag comment! From now on I'll think of this video and laugh instead of going into instant rage.
awesome looks like you were having difficulty trying to screw up 👍👍
The sawzall blade 😂
I think a plasama cutter would be better for notching, or an oxy torch
A welding april fools video at the end of november. What a time to be alive.
It was amazing that you remembered to cut out that first notch. You didn't put X's on it! How did you remember? Just outstanding workmanship I guess. I'm still baffled.
He got lucky, being pressed for time and no upbeat survey music.
I love it! The zooming in on the scissors to then grab the saw blade 😂
Such good info! The only things missing is the subtropical birds and kids squawking in the background. Otherwise on the money. Thanks, helps muchly. 😁
Great work sir
It does even torsion moves with that fitting. 😂
Funny video, I laughed a lot. Thank you for your cool content.
Almost fell out of the chair when you brought out the chipping hammer!😂 Guess i will have to upgrade to Premium, i dont get the “Pro” feeds you are referring to lol 😁. Keep up the good work and Be Safe!
LMFAO what a masterpiece of comedy
I’ve always wanted to learn how to weld. This vid is a good reference point on how to start.
Dude, my pressure is rising just watching you. If you wanna make rage bait videos you got the knack for it.
keep watching those videos and youll get it and for good measure throw a big cap weld on then grind it all away
Welding humor, Love it!
If you ever get tired of being the badest ass tig welder on the planet, you could definitely make it in comedy. I totally understand your point and that's the reason I only watch true professionals like you. I appreciate you sharing your knowledge !!
those huge views aren't from fabricators looking for some amazing new trick fabrication techniques
Laughed all the way through. Thanks for that! You're fighting the good fight.
Ichiban moto was a master of this stuff. I miss this stuff. Makes you appreciate life
As usual, amazing work. And even better for calling out the “expert” TikTok a holes
😂😂I love your sense of humor! 😂😂
Good times man, keep on rockin on.
Im glad you’ll never see how I did ALL that dumb stuff. I also, somehow, Continue to do dumb stuff.
Thank you for your videos. This is great for anyone trying to fabricate.
Not gonna lie, 1:30 looks a lot like my aluminum welding
LOOOOOL Someone really hit a nerve. I love it. Also I have had your tig button for 3 yrs now, best investment.
I really liked the pat on the back hahaha
Man, I'm still pretty terrible at TIG and even I haven't managed to crack a cup like that.
You're such a grumpus, and I'm here for it! 😂❤
Thanks, made me laugh out loud!
Aaron, you forgot the continuous pointing at various objects in view to highlight what you might be doing, although it still remains a mystery...
Those markings are still really hard to see. I would recomend spraying the whole part with paint and then scratch in the marks.
Keeping it real, thanks for sharing
That was hilarious. I think you're on to something. Plus you're teaching the right way.
I like the tool tour.
Now leave out the little know-it-all part at the end and you'll get rich on youtube, finally. Saved my dreary existence 🤣
I used to get yelled at if I called it a ruler.. HA!
Frigging awesome. 🎉. Love these smart ass retort vids. The index finger wag... Oh damn. Spot on. Only thing you're forgetting about is the "air trace" motion of what you're going to weld first. God that crap is awful.
When the cup broke I started laughing. That actually happened to me 2 days ago 😂
Damn! I was going to say, I couldn't have done it better myself and then you said that was all garbage. LOL!
this is exactly how all my buddies do fab work.... and they complain i take "too long".... :D
Awesome video
Excellent “how to” video…
As someone who paid for access to the website. I feel ripped off this video is being offered to everyone for free……
What makes it funnier to me is this is literally how I cut sheet metal and stuff at work for “body” work and stringers. Doesn’t need to look good just needs to work and pass highway patrol inspection.
As soon as you made that first wide mark, I started laughing, coming from a master such as yourself you made this video freakin hysterical!
Wait…weren’t you in that movie Idiocracy? The guy who welded the Time Machine together?
OMG, this was so hard to watch. Lol!
@1:28 I spit toothpaste all over my phone 💀💀
Tungsten inclusions, LOL.
Trouble comes when wrong priorities are set. They have:
1st: Aesthetics
2nd: "Fanciness"
...
6061st: Structurally sound
As with anything else, showing off has it's limits. Also, it's easier to show off doing ludicrous stuff than making propper stuff, since you'll have no previous comparison and your target audience have no knowledge to know any better...
They're called "life hack" videos for a reason.
I am just a beginner at TIG, but today I learned that after a MIG job, stick a tungsten electrode in my Lincoln Buzz Box stick welder and hit the work in a couple of spots.
Nailed it 👍
That dropped off cup must be one you used melting aluminum to cast, I've seen a dude at work get one glowing red and the torch smoking and as it cooled the face fell away like that
you forgot the dab welds
This is possibly one of the most horrific things I've ever seen. But I can't look away. 😂
Of course you weakened the structure of the Holy tubing.
You didn't mark the centre line on the inside and notch it out properly with a pickaxe.
And you definitely didn't get anywhere near enough ceramic flecks into the weld.
Now your allooominimum is going to rust.
Thanks for the Comedy! LOL Needed that after a hard day!
Amazing genius welder tricks! Only if you're billing the customer by the hour.
That first arc shot.....
Have you been spying on me?
Well, your first mistake is you are supposed to be stick welding it. Bad dog…
This is incredible
Well that sawzall blade was surely the wrong tool. You gotta use the nail embedded wood blades so they wont get dull when encountering a knot in the material!
It's the "welding tip the pro's don't want you to know"
i love that one.. like we're all just sitting here trying to gatekeep all the good info from everyone haha. youtube is stupid now, thankfully we still have people like Aaron fighting the good fight
I can’t imagine the internal struggle you went through to weld that badly. Very funny video
