Do you know why Malaysia tourism slogan is Malaysia Truly Asia?
Because like u said, we are the melting pot of multidiverse cultural country.
Take food for example. We have malay, borneo, indian and chinese cuisine because these 4 are the major races in malaysia.
Other than that, we have western food, arabic and turkish food. And some of thai & indonesian food also very common in malaysia.
Tomyam (thai dishes) & ayam penyet or bakso (indo dishes) are very very common throughout the country from north to south, from sarawak to sabah, this thai & indo food is easily available for you.
Malay, borneo, indian, chinese, western, arab, turkish, thai, indonesian food, we had it all.

Many Filipinas win by taking control of real estate the foreigner had purchase. Make sure the certificate of title specifies she is married to a foreigner so it is conjugal property.
Also set a Philippine Corporation and see if it can be a subsidiary of a U.S. Corporation. Than annotate a lease from the corporation to the foreigner. Annotate with Register of Deeds.

Generally you're an expat if you live in a country other than the one in which you were born and raised. That makes all those nationalities you mentioned here are expats. However, the unspoken understanding is that those who work in the 'white collar' sectors are expats while those who work hard labour jobs are migrant labourers. Simply put, expats have $$$. That's why they can afford to live in places such as Mont Kiara while migrant labourers packed together in the "kongsi". Well... that's imho.
