I'm still hoping that Project ACES (and perhaps in collaboration with Access Games) makes a full-on game adaptation of Area 88's manga for, say, the Nintendo Switch (in the same vein as The Sky Crawlers: Innocent Aces was on the Wii and Ace Combat 3D was on the 3Ds).

Account for the fact that this is a Japanese singer, and that only some of the lyrics are in English, and at least the Chorus is comprehensible, but in a Japanese accent (which is very hard to overcome for a Japanese person trying to speak English.) Also consider that in the '80s, it was cool to have English words in your JPop and JRock songs, including for anime. It's really not that bad, though. I've heard worse.
@Shunmaha can someone please make an amv with this theme and not the remakes? thank you. p.s. i think the weapons from the snes version of area 88 my should have been added in the anime, i like the mega crush, its a laser drone of doom.

No One Knows Your Pain Of Love
No One Knows Your Loneliness
No One Knows Your Crying Face
No One Knows Your Destiny
No One Knows Your Pain Of Love
No One Knows Your Loneliness

Alright! The opening theme from the third episode! Only this time it sounds clearer and easier to hear! I love it! It's so awesome!
I love this song and this Comics/Anime.
This should have been made into a movie!

@@cassandraguildernstien No, that's just the closest thing. Still a good movie, though.

I uploaded a lot more area 88 music, if you want to listen to them... go go go~!
I wish that one day we get this along with other songs from Area 88 in Ace Combat 7 (or even 8 if it comes out soon) multiplayer

It's the old theme but it FAR better than the new techno one.

The singer kinda sucks at pronouncing english properly. This makes the chorus less enjoyable.
shocking the native japanese person isnt good at speaking japanese in the 1980s
