- Guitar: 1970 Miguel Rodriguez (tinyurl.com/ovu...)
Pepe Romero stopped by GSI to play a 1970 Miguel Rodriguez classical guitar that had a huge impact on his son, luthier Pepe Romero Jr. This guitar is unique in that it has reverse fan bracing, and since making this discovery has used this system in all of his guitars. Recorded at the Guitar Salon International showroom in Santa Monica, CA.
Huge thanks to the folks at Apogee Electronics (ApogeeDigital.com) for the use of their Ensemble interface in these recordings.

Pepe Sr is such a Savage!
Pepe Romero sr can do stand up just busting jr chops. If hed turn it in to an album I’d listen to it
Awesome sound! I gather playing a piece like that Sevillanas on that guitar one must be very mindful when executing the rasqueados as to not inflict damage to the top as I see no golpeador on it.
There is a golpe board on this guitar. You can see it at 04:46, no?
Wow, this guitar sound realy amazing :3 . And interesting for me are this thick frets on the neck, it look very nice for me :) .
PEPE Is a Savage XD
Pepe's a legend.
hahaha just before he was consieved!
Rodriguez is a perfect guitar for the music of Turina!
This guitar has great-sounding basses, but the trebles don't seem to be very 'sparkling'.
Pepe is funny as
