I went to go look at an apartment today and the lady denied me a tour because of my service dog because she said she sprayed for bugs. and she said I need to show her a doctors note for my dog and she needs to be vested. I told her she can’t require those but she continued to argue. So for my anxiety purpose I sat in the car while my boyfriend did the tour. And thank you for inspiring me to be a better advocate for service dogs!

1) Max can possibly eat a fly and a flea will give a poor doggie (bellie worms😥) 2) Flys land on doggies { tail under } at opening and lay nano eggs that hatch and those maggots migrate in the poor doggies opening. Even if Max has no fleas and is wearing preventative. Fleas are in grass and behave different for instance in the South they're all over grass whereas in the north they hang out on the edges of forest or the fringes of grassy areas. Well at any rate they can jump on him and if he bites one being itchy and swallows it that's when it happens. Too it seems like you didn't really care that he was there with you flinging boxes around him just seemed inconsiderate.

He would not legally be a service dog. A dog is only a service dog if they are assisting the disabled, mitigating some aspect of their disability. Even if a dog is professionally trained, and goes on to someone who is not disabled, that dog is not a service dog. Just a very well trained dog.

You can go and do canine certificates (mostly these are just saying your dog is well rounded and good around people) there is no certificates that I know of for service dogs and there is no registration. The canine good citizen certificate is just something you can do with a trainer just like other training if your not comfortable training yourself. I been researching this stuff over the last year because my husband needs a service dog lol
