Of all the things I would expect in a Super Metroid ROMhack.... "Re-enacting the Metroid Prime 3 Ridley fight while Nyan Cat plays in the background" is very, very low on that list. :P
I thought it was largely a good hack, I really disliked monstool mash though. A couple weird decisions but one of the more interesting short rom hacks out there IMO. I've beaten it myself and quite a few Metroid hacks and as such I have no idea why some are so bothered by it. Some failed potential for sure but some of the custom ASM like rocket ball is pretty darn cool. And even though some of the bosses aren't great they are all unique, even Ridley, and that's rather uncommon.
Very much so, considering it was a contest entry. The creator of this hack seems to thrive on the idea of "steaming piles of hot garbage" as a form of entertainment. :P
Witheredness I bet you are the type of person to give a trophy to the losing team as well just for participation? Not everything created is worthy of a trophy. shit should be flushed rather than leaving it in the toilet. Get what I’m saying? Or do u want to keep applauding the garbage ?
@@witheredness "Needing to do better" is not a requirement to give criticism. I too can say that cooked food tastes like shit, despite not being a cook myself, for instance. I agree however that he should explain the aspects he didn't like about the hack, instead of just calling it "hot garbage".

Honestly, if not for the "shoot a normal enemy with 200 missiles" bosses, this looks like a pretty decent hack

Great job on the TAS, but this is not a good ROMhack in my opinion. You did great, the creator did not.
