The SC has no constitutional authority to just declare this or that improper and take action on it. They are not a "Government" above the Governments of the US . And thank goodness, or I don't doubt we'd be complaining about that group of people behaving like tyrants . . (if they hadn't outlawed complaining about them by now ; )
It doesn't work that way. This is a state court case. It can only get to the Supreme Court if some question of constitutional or federal law comes up. Even then it usually goes to a lower federal court first. Even then the SC court usually only gets involved if some sort of significant constitutional question comes up. They don't have the authority to just interfere in any case going on in the country when they don't like something.
If you remember Nathan Wade was working at the jail investigating because there had been so many deaths.
They say the place is run down and filthy, infested with bed bugs.
