I only realized it was the real thing when the older man stumbled and fell to his knees in pain. I told him to remain calm stop moving to make his heart beat slower so he would not bleed out. He was hit several times.. The shooter was a young clean shaven black man who was wearing a dunkin donuts outfit . He seemed happy he shot the guy and ran away..I told the first responding police officers that the man ran off and which way he ran then let them attend to victim. i then went in to get a refund ( i had already paid on the drive thru) i was surprized upon exiting 15 minutes later that cops had surrounded the building and thought the shooter was still inside.. This whole "setting up a perimeter military style" i guess for officer safety kind of defeats the purpose of policing. All the cops needed to do was walk in the door like i did if they wanted to find out wtf was going on inside .Had a shooter been inside he coukd have killed all of us by the time the cops walked in. .Anyway it was a very sad day..I felt bad for the unarmed man who was gunned down. He lost a lot of blood but thankfully got calm real fast once he realized his panic could cause him to bleed out fast...I hope he survives.
