I find it pretty neat that you can use a phone like a tape recorder for the computer with the additional bonus that you can basically store a equivalent of 100 cassette tapes in one device
My old school (Now almost shut down completely) has quite a few large rooms full of computers from when my dad went to school there 30 years ago. Truly sad to know they will most likely keep collecting dust.
It's bad to suggest committing a crime but if they abandon the building you should try and take some of the relics before they are destroyed by age or by people
I couldn't finish your awesome video, i didn't want to start my day off crying. ok, I came back and finished the little dude dancing, how amazed I was when I was 8 or 9 and starting out on the Apple computer, I should have gotten into programming, since I like it so much, thank you for the awesome memories you brought back to me. you made my day.
Friday was backup day in 1989, a 20Mb HD to 5.25 floppies. When the tape backup system came out it was like magic. Press a button and just walk away. Amazing!
God seeing that big floppy really brought some memories back, even though I'm a 90s baby we had older computers so I def had a few school papers that ended up saved on those.
This is 100% one that I remember on the Apple ][+ machines in high school back in the early 1980s. Good times! As soon as I saw it drawing that TV, I started humming the tune in my head.
I'm in a class for IT and I love these older computers. I sadly don't get much of a chance to work with them though. The oldest thing I have is a Windows XP laptop.
Although I've never owned an Apple computer, my childhood was largely spent immersed in the world of computing, switching between Monochrome, EGA, CGA, and VGA graphics!
I have wonderful memories of using these computers in early elementary school. We'd all be in rows in the computer lab, which was a windy and warm place, learning how to insert floppies and play the simple games on them. Loved it
ive never lived for this era of computers but something about it has so much nostolgia. maybe movies or my parents talking about it i have no idea but it hits somewhere deep
"Bob-Vison presents...Apple-Vision!" followed instantly by just some dude dancing to the beeper speaker sent me all the way to the hospital for issues regarding "stupid humor"
I remember this quite a bit as a kid. 💪😎✌️ Impressed the heck outta me. And the reason I found this video? I was randomly trying to remember the difference between Integer Basic and Floating Point. 😁
This is super impressive, and funny, but my god it’s also like an unintentionally ‘Tim & Eric’ hilarious. The MIDI track and lil silhouette just going hard to it. Ahhh.
I find it pretty neat that you can use a phone like a tape recorder for the computer with the additional bonus that you can basically store a equivalent of 100 cassette tapes in one device
Yep that is some sort of actual cool
@yuriossola1923what
Lol i think a smartphone can hold more then 100 tapes
That's like saying a HDD can hold several 3.5" floppys. Of course it can, thousands of them
You can save over a million on one device.
That’s some epic ray tracing 3D graphics
Text based ray tracing
Vector graphics
Haha - yes it is. The reflection off the TV looks so real.
Totally the best graphics
Audio makes an image. This technology is ahead of our own
This is the Best program! I was so damn impressed by it when I was a kid in 1982

Steal one when they shut down, otherwise they are gonna be destroyed
@@joej3365 You want me to break in?

Five and a quarter inch (5-1/4") floppies were tiny compared to eight inch (8") and huge compared to three and half (3.5").
It's so awesome to see those machines still powering up and running!
That classic Apple disk drive sound.... brings back memories
The keys and that floppy drive latch sounds brought up the tactile memories I have of them from childhood. Very cool.
That's literally amazing I cannot believe it 😱.

Man the difference between Apple vision and the pro…
the apple vision without pro is better tho
Although I've never owned an Apple computer, my childhood was largely spent immersed in the world of computing, switching between Monochrome, EGA, CGA, and VGA graphics!
The Nokia 1200 was the revolutionary phone before the iPhone. Because it’s almost indestructible… like 98.76% indestructible.
I still have one somewhere around here 😅

Thanks for sharing. I love all your posts!
Like how the hell, y'all had the best stuff back then

You made me remember this, damn it.
Integer Basic has no HGR function. If you List the program it had minimal lines. It loaded a fair bit of machine code to make this happen
So quaint. So simple. So incredible.
Now play Oregon Trail❤
This explains the sudden jump straight to Apple Vision Pro.
This program is neat by the way!
ive never lived for this era of computers but something about it has so much nostolgia. maybe movies or my parents talking about it i have no idea but it hits somewhere deep
😂 I love your videos, my dad used to play games on his old computer just like these!
Aww man the keyboard sounds
Im a younger dude lookung to grab some sort of old computer to play with and its just amazing to see how far weve come
wow i never even thought you can replace a tape with literally any other sound source. This is pretty smart
I’m a game art major, I remember learning about this computer and text adventure games and whatnot, I WANT ONE OF THESE in my room.
Turkey in the Straw got me singing Wakko's America
And the crowd went wild when this was first shown 😊
Much better than the apple vision we have now🙂
Finally, my pro-flashlight and Walkie-Talkie are now here. Thank you, The Company! WE ALL LOVE THE COMPANY!
ima buy more so we can use it in the building
Those Apple II keyboards were almost indestructible even when kids hammered the keys.
I like how when you play music on it, it shows a little animation
That sound of the keyboard, music to my ears.
Awesome demo scene!
You're a great great asset to the company
That was the coolest thing I've ever seen
I love your energy dude, this was super fun to watch! 😊
That thumbs up in the end was so nice😂

Love your Apple content, subbed
The soud of the saved program brings a lot of memories
Using the phone in place of a tape deck is neat
Crazy how back then they had Apple vision and recreated it to what it is today as a VR headset
The clacking sound is great
Another computer that can reproduce music and its so good
