I grew up with the original 90s X-Men series and Gambit was always my favorite character of all time. Seeing him die in 2024 really broke my heart, especially Rogue's last words and the fact that she is able to touch him a last time in this episode. Why Disney? Why would they let this loving and charming badass die? All he wanted to do was love Rogue.
"De name is Gambit..mon ami...remember it" Remy Lebau you are damn sure the Ragin' Cajun "Gambit, how often must a scoundrel prove himself a hero before he believes it himself" -Charles Xavier
I literally clicked on the video expecting them to be in here. I love all these reactors, but they're the only ones that I'm watching the reactions to for this show.
Marvel never did that with deaths, you are talking about Sony as there was literally a joke after Spider-Man died in ITSV and when MJ was giving a speech about him
The best fan reaction "thank god this was never in nor would ever be offical cannon in the comicbooks or original cartoon series this revisionism is hilarous tho."😂
I'll be honest as someone who just rushed through the OG series to watch this show (By rushed through mean that I watched the 5 seasons over the last 1 month giving it time and respect) I just thought things would get better I heard some BS with Magneto and Rogue and I held out hope that Rogue and Gambit will get together again since they were THE couple for me in the OG series (Yes actually fuck you Cyclops and Jean I liked their couple better strangely I also liked Wolverine and Storm much more too despite they only got like 1-3 episodess) Look look I get it that many people like this show but I'm gonna say it...... just because you make it for "Mature audiences" (which is a statement if you make you immediately gonna end up look like a pretentious dickbag in my eyes) that wont make it good I want my characters get a happy ending YES i want there to be conflict and a cool amazing hard fight but at the end I want happy ending for them George Lucas style (or most of Stan Lee's styles) so while this IS a badass for him to go and a heroic one too..... I just.... dont want him to go.....
That "I cant feel you" gotta be one of the best line deliveries ever that shit hits like a truck everytime props to her VA
Girllll.... I cried too. And I've never cried once at anything x-men related but Gambit's death was absolutely heartbreaking
"F this show bro"😂
Also had my teary moment after watching this episode...
You know it's real when you get so pissed off. You say F everything.

I can't lie...I teared up when I first saw it...and every time I hear those words from Rouge...😢😢😢😢😢😢!
Same. It breaks me. I love these characters so much.
I truely agree this synchro is on point and hits so god damn hard 😢😢😢
Anybody else noticing that marvel animation is beasting on everyone including marvel live action.🤷🏾♂️
Yeah, It's unconcealable. We demand quality, out with the mass culture trash.
That's why Kevin Fiege delayed all live action projects since the cgi artist could not keep up with the pace of the release schedule

In the initial cut he told the Sentinel to put that on a cracker dood, but they cut it
Gambit had always been my favorite super hero... I'm crushed
The moment real men cried
"I cant feel you" -Rogue
In Every reaction 😢
Struggle Nation leading it off!
You know it's bad when you got to wait 5 minutes before you got words to say because you in shock.
I’ve seen people comment that this was our Red Wedding and I have to agree 💯
felt like a "hold the door" moment :(
@@sportjones1 absolutely 😭
The difference is that we had heroic sacrifices to counter the tragedy. The Red Wedding never had that.
Both times had me staring in silence, jaw dropped, as the credits rolled.
They're probably building up an apocalypse arc with gambit returning as death of the four horsemen
I’m still saddened by the death. But now re watching this and seeing him in Rogue’s arms is now getting to me more; tearing up. 🥺
The funeral of Gambit hurt to me
pReview’d had quite the reaction with roughly twenty-one “No”’s back-to-back and understandably so
agreed, these were pretty mid reactions in comparison lol
They are my faves
The Preview’d reaction was also incredible. You should check it out ❤
Tip of the hat to another Peach in the wild. 🍑
I literally clicked on the video expecting them to be in here. I love all these reactors, but they're the only ones that I'm watching the reactions to for this show.
Cable you got to fix this
This gave me walking dead vibes of when Negan killed both Abraham and Glenn 😅🥹🥺😭
I know how you feel Gambit was my favorite too
Gambit is a G
put his death on my list of character deaths that made me sad, like Tech from bad batch
So Marvel can let a moment be heavy without making shitty jokes to break the tension

The ending music cemented the moment to dwell about what happened even longer!
My jaw dangled for at least 2 mins and then Rogue saying “I can’t feel you”
That broke me.
I swear X-men 97 had me say holy shit so many times but real fans hurting even though gambit is humor he’s family that shit hurt
the way they played the theme song all slow and shit at the end? very offensive how they did that.
Very few things that can make a grown man cry this is one
The last girl literally turns her head to laugh then continues to fake cry lmfao.
Gambit can't stay dead he has always been my favorite character in X-Men second only to Wolverine
My favorite one was the last one. Love nerdy girls 😊
This reaction is freaking touching.
How would M Bison say: "It was just a thursday!"

Elixer of Life...Candra
😭
Rouge without gambit is lame af.
Somehow they will bring him back.
The crying is too much. Its a cartoon
They may be drawings, but the reason people cry when this happens is because they empathize.
@@Binks129 that and a majority of the people reacting most likely grew up watching the 90s X-Men show which X-Men 97 is a continuation of
5 min girl is super fake
Lol dude "The names Gambit. Remember it." immediately prior to ending the existance of the Sentinel. Legit top 3 in the "worst/corniest lines ever".
Ngl I went to my Gambit shrine I have an was like man they can't do this to you.... I cried 😢
