  • This Plenary: The Tech Revolution: Winning a Turbocharged Race took place during the 21st International Anti-Corruption Conference (IACC) held in Vilnius, Lithuania, from 18-21 June 2024. More info: iaccseries.org/
Technological revolutions are double edge swords. Innovations are quickly adopted for good and for bad while laws, policies, and practices usually must race, to catch up. The current tech revolution, fuelled by artificial intelligence, has unleashed a dark side where deep fakes, high tech surveillance, large scale disinformation and more are exploited by both organised crime and the corrupt.
On the other side, we are benefited by smart early adopters: The latest tech innovations also have an immense potential for good. In this tech race, how can we maximise the opportunities brought by the current revolution, and win the race against the corrupt?
