Roped focuses on a progressive town resisting the arrival of a traveling rodeo competition into their city. The town councilman (Casper Van Dien) butts head with a young (Swickard) cowboy on his rise to superstardom. When the councilman's daughter (York) falls in love with the cowboy their battle becomes deeply personal.
