  • A reporter and a cameraman from a California news station just missed getting hit by a car during a broadcast.
    Transcript:
A news reporter and a cameraman are back to work after nearly getting run over by a car during a live broadcast.
KTVU's Alex Savidge was covering a story in Alameda County, California, when a car came straight at Savidge and his camerman, Chip Vaughan.
"I'm grateful to be OK. I want to bring Chip out here ..." Savidge said.
Later, Savidge brought Vaughan on camera to thank him for the warning to get out of the way of the car.
What exactly caused the car to come off the road is still unclear.
We have seen several other instances where reporting by the side of the road has proved risky. Reporters better just hope their crew are keeping an eye out for traffic.
This video includes clips from WNBC and KGTV.

the reason the car came off the road is that it bumped that black car and lost control
