Two Weeks of Exploring Southern Thailand

- In February 2024, I returned to Thailand for my second time to explore the southern region of this beautiful country. Alicia and I met up with our friends, Kevin and Sabrina, for two weeks of exploring Ao Nang, Railay Beach, Koh Pha-ngan, and Koh Samui. The two weeks we spent there would solidify this place as one of the most unique and awe-inspiring places we've ever been.

Filmmaking is incredible in this! Sooo good
Thank you dude ❤️
This video is insane! Can I ask how you that film look?
The bat shot with the moon...exquisite. Glad you didn't get food poisoning this time!
Had to leave the camera rolling for a good 7 minutes to get that shot lol.
And crazy what happens when you don’t eat animal organs from a street vendor!!
24:57 displays the dynamic range capabilities of 250d so well underneath the house is perfectly exposed and so is the sky. Incredible.
Yeah I was really impressed by it!!
A Thai individual here who has never been to the South yet, this video makes me feel like I’m traveling with you!! Will go to Koh Samui soon tho in June. I love it so much to watch a kind of video like this. Always happy to see that travelers or tourists have a good time and memories to bring back home from the trip also!!!
Thank you for watching and the kind feedback!
It’s never too late to travel to Thailand you made it you did it finally
Coffee brewed, avocado toast ready, Brae video in the queue. Bliss.
Let’s go haha
This video / movie is like way way better than watching any movie...❤❤❤❤
I am blow away by your narration n the video production n editing....🙏🙏🙏🙏
This is your best video ever. Great trip and a nicely worked out story.
That film seems to take some exposure in shadows and doesn’t blow out, or lose tone or saturation in the sun !
The cat at the end of the video was the perfect finish, well done ..
Thank you so much for the kind feedback, Charley. All the best. Cheers!
The photos are excellent obviously but the cinematography is ridiculous. What a beautiful film. Thank you for making these videos brother, and the huge amount of effort that goes into them!
Ah thank you! Appreciate ya taking the time to watch!
The music choice here felt so unique and deliberate, so great
Thank you! Definitely try to select music that fits the video :)
The shot at :018 is incredible. P.s. you’ve inspired me to get dehancer. Great work!
Thanks! Cheers
This is art, thank you
I missed out on Asia when I was traveling in the last decade, hopefully i get to see it in a couple of years. Great video as always! Thanks for taking us along.
Definitely recommend exploring it! Thanks for watching the vid 🤝🏼
Subscribed after the intro. Great shots. Awesome storytelling. Cool music choice. I'm at 4:27, will keep watching.
Appreciate it! Cheers
The picture of Alicia feeding the elephant is amazing man! Greetings from Switzerland.
Thanks, Rebecca!

So incredibly beautiful. The cinematography, the photos, the story telling. Wow. Snagged myself a print of those scooters.
Thank you dude! I appreciate the support big time 🙏🏻
SMOKY G those first shots are incredible. Immediately hooked.
Thanks dude!
0.18 shot is so good.
Absolutely incredible video, brother! The cinematography is amazing. May I ask, what lenses and camera you used to film this?
Thank you!! All on the black magic 6k pro with the sigma 18-35 and old canon 70-200 f/2.8!
Did not expect a G splitting attempt in Thailand. Hell of an effort! Also just learned you’re from Tacoma. I’m going to be visiting this summer. What are some must photograph places there?
Haha we tried...
Sunrise at Mount Rainier National Park, Ruby Beach out on the coast, and hiking to Summit Lake would be some top choices of mine!
Really entertaining and interesting video man! I really enjoyed it. Really nostalgic for me growing up in south east Asia.
Thank you! Appreciate you watching!
I was completely blown away by this video. Fantastic still images, I will have to try and get hold of some of that film stock. However, the cinematography and edit did it for me. Absolutely excellent.
Thank you, John!
I just purchased one of your prints from this trip. Amazing video, they just keep getting better. If you’re ever in Nashville Tennessee let me know.
Thank you very much for the support, Scott! I visited Nashville for the first time last year and have been eager to get back! Definitely need some recommendations for next time.
Filming, photos and all the good times had are all equally a,axing mate!

Excellent film and narrative
Thank you!
The effort that you put into this post is incredible and it shows, not just through the subject. Great job. One question: what backup film camera did you bring in case the 7 STB?
Thanks very much! And no backup haha. Tried to pack as light as possible so didn't carry an extra camera.
this is so inspiring, thank you broh !!! 👍

Unreal story telling Brae 👌🏽🙌
Thank you!!
Awesome, Brae!
Thanks Grandma 😊
Amazing!! Great video. Thank you for sharing. 👍132
My pleasure. Thank you for watching!
What a Film ❤
🙏🏼
Nice soundtrack and your colour of pics are look like 80's and some smell remind me to Quintin Tarantino styled.
The shot that i like most is 2 Local Thai ladys on the beach with flash light and the BG is red, maybe the flash light is more interesting with the big film that you use.
By the way i like the picture colour of the VDO more than the camera film.
Maybe the best video you have ever made
Really appreciate that, Cory. Thank you!
masterpiece!
Thank you!
Very fun video
Thank you!
I concluded for that digital is much better than film on busy hectic vacations for me. There is just so much to shoot and I also want to relax and have a good time. Worrying about film, travel, changing rolls, anxiety of it ever coming good is just too much. Film is better suited to specific projects and more focused shooting.
amazing content!
Thanks!
🔥
What's that yellow sling? I've been searching for the perfect crossbody or hip pack for photography and this looks promising
A fake Patagonia fanny pack thing I bought while I was in Asia for like $8 lol
For the Eastman film, are you metering for 100 speed?
Eastman film?
@@BraeHunziker Ah I was mixing stocks; I meant the 250d!
Brae drop the workout routine! The pipes are piping. It’s probably from shooting with the Pentax 67 😂
Haha yeah handling the Pentax will get you shredded 😂
Parts Unknown vibes
Always a big inspiration!
0:50 agreed!
29:29 ayoooo pause!🤣
😂😂😂
LOOOL
Goddammit now I need some 250d
It’s soooo good
I just don’t get why you have „only“ 70k subs 😅😮
Haha growing slowly but surely. Thank you!
How does one get this lucky? (sigh) 14:33
