There does not seem to be a lot of bugs on the beta units. And I am sure the bugs will be ironed out when the final release comes. I think this is a very good product for both in the shack and remote.
I am getting there. I have done some dry tests on the bench this morning, and it seems very good hardware wise. My plan for today is to get everything mounted, wired up and connected to the radio.
Now that thing looks really sweet! Wish I had a proper home shack so I could get one. But I think for portable operations (and especially SOTA) it may be a bit overkill! Looking forward to the next parts! Oh; and what type of temperature probes dies it use? I may have some so you can test that too if there wasn't any in the box you got from George!
@@LB5JJ I have probes, and they work actually. I have spent the day hunting noise from the Station Controller, I am now out of toroids, but it’s noise free. The temperature probes actually created some noise. But yes, it’s an amazing project.
Now that looks like some fun kit to play with! Looking forward to videos in this series.
It looks awesome
I’m looking forward to the next video. Thanks for sharing! My husband and I are thinking about purchasing one of George’s controllers
