Linkin Park desparately wanted to become part of the "Transformers" soundtrack since they did not know there was a 2007 live-action adaptation of it and they did! LP did an excellent decision to be part of the movie!
I hope Linkin Park comes back for the sequel film's soundtrack (coming in June 2009). They DEFINITELY fit in with the live-action "Transformers" films.
