Speedruns? On my channel? At first I wanted to do just a normal playthrough, but after a few deaths, I thought about something else. I was aiming for 12:30 - half of the time required for the “Gotta Go Fast” achievement, but the end result was even better. This was also the first time I managed to beat the game. At least 20% of the fighting during this video was random button mashing. It’s hard to think while you try to do everything so fast. This is a really good rogue-like game. I highly recommend to play it.

This vid really helped me out. I did not see at first the absolute broken potential of that fire power, and I went from banging my head against stage 2 to almost beating the game with a random crit build using that and the ice daggers. Pairs very well with dark katana and the vampire's eyeglasses.

More map and artifact variation prior to what it is now. It’s a short game, and it claims to be a rogue like but it won’t feel any different on a new run because the maps are nearly identical. Limited enemy types, and predictable easy boss fights. The combat is where the game shines though, the combos with the arcana work really well and there’s variety with combat since your always switching out arcana and using different ones.

@Santy, I thought the same thing at first but once you progress enough through the trials, itll be way easier when ever you start from the beginning, without you even realizing that. It really helps your reflexes haha. My friend noticed how gross I got and called me out on it 😂
Is there any inherent advantage to starting in the Chilling Dungeon as opposed to the other 2? I find it interesting that the game even offers you this option, implying it's a buff to your run through. I'm assuming either Freya is the hardest boss on 3rd level or her dungeon is the easiest to exploit as the first?
this makes the game look hella fun instead of just doing every mob room one by one, don't know why i never tried that. to be fair i've only ever played 3 runs lmao. i saw the pvp combat and it looked sick but got a little disappointed by the roguelike aspect (imo roguelikes are just an excuse for bloat), but you can actually speedrun this if you're good enough, so gonna try this playstyle from now on

Yeah I still think Zeal has to quick of a recovery time. Its different from the other councils members which makes her more unique, but doesnt mean it's still not annoying lol.
Guys If you are reading this GET THIS GAME ITS AMAZING The gameplay is very fluid, the dungeons are awesome and they are adding a new area very soon for free. Still, in its current state its still enjoyable as fuck and very much worth the price
it's all about balancing then, but seeing how the fight system works, the dynamics of the fights etc.. It could be a very skilled 1v1 game in my opinion
Could you try my build? Its Chaos Basic, Chaos Rift (Dash), Magsphere, Volt Pinball. I got an 8:53 with this run. Given i was lucky and got double trouble but meh. but seriously this is my favorite build
First I was displeased by the fact, that Gellot tanked a lot of hits. Then I looked closer, and realised, that the mobs and bosses deal 0 to no damage. So technically, this counts is a no damage run.

So, Sir Gellot can either be as untouchable as air, or as fast as lightning, but not both. Fair enough: Most of us can't manage either one.

Since the basic attack was water i guess it's better to start with the one you can hurt the least.
