Wizkid does have an amazing voice which no one can deny! But in my opinion, there are parts of "Essence" where he artistically uses vocal effects. For example, at 1:54 to 1:58 of the Music Video there is a certain effect that I can hear with earbuds every time he says "body" in that section. It's not a bad thing at all and as I stated, I like how it sounds. Also, I am not a professional in this field so this is my opinion and I'm completely willing to disagree with you on this.
