- This is the toilet I have upstairs. The logo on this toilet is in very good condition, and the toilet has a fantastic flush. Thank you to MrBrombomb for giving me the year on this toilet!
I love that toilet and I like it the way it flushes and it's awesomely
Plebes are a rare gem.
amazing toilet!
This is the main toilet in my house. It's served us all very, very well through the years. :)
The Hard Drive Guru wow! Awesome! These plebes are great performers.
The Vintage Toilet Hunter That they are! Though my dad somehow managed to clog it on a regular basis. It hasn't clogged once since he passed. To this day I have no idea what he did... XD
I'm sorry about your loss of your dad. :( And I really like these plebes a lot.
He was really suffering towards the end, so for him I'm relieved. It's been hard to adjust to life without him even a few years later, but it makes me feel better to know that he isn't in pain anymore. It's cliche as hell, but in this case it's true. XD This is the only Plebe I've seen in person, hoping to run into more as I see the world a bit more.
I have this toilet in the guest bathroom and it is dated February 10, 1984.
@RosaBeha I think, but I'm not sure, that the stuff around the edge is just dust. I really need to clean up around here. >XD
@MrBrombomb Thanks! I'll update that right away.
As the replacement bowl plate number has not changed at all between 1971-93 (3031.010), then there may be a few examples in which the original tank (4079 series) was replaced with a 4093 series tank.
@jhenry1041 Thanks! If I ever get back to that particular toilet I'll try to find out. :)
Amazing!!! #ObeyThePlebe
that is my favorite model american standard cadet toilet what kind of fillvalve and flapper does it have thank you i like your video
ahh we have these plebes at the strip mall pool hall
@HardDriveGuru
So, what would be the date of manufacture inside the tank and tanklid? Mine of course reads: FEB 10 4 (the last digit in year 1984).
I have a toilet similar to this with no logo or siphon jet. The take is a newer American Standard tank, maybe a 3.5 gpf. The house was built in '94 so I'm wondering if anyone could identify it. My best guess is that it is just a mismatched toilet.
I am guessing that toilet is anywhere between mid 70s to mid 80s
show us how it handles thanksgiving dinner
It has the #4083 tank so it was made between 1982 & 1984. I have a video of a blue 1984 American Standard Plebe on my channel.
Actually, I found the 1960s block logo with the secondary logo lasted through 1985 also.
btw this plebe has a double flush, and this toilet could be a 1981 or 1982
It seems that it will need a wet towel for the outside of the bowl.
@Paulywint OK. Thanks!
@ClassicTVMan1981X Nice!
@SheerRandomnessify
I'll try to get a video of it for u guys.
@SheerRandomnessify Ah. Well, good luck!
why do people not clean behind the seat? yuk!
@TheLordoftheFans
I would if only I had a video camera of my own.
Or the outer bowl? Yuk again....!!1
@lineman1954 Well, aren't you nice.
