Then I happened to go to another festival a couple years ago and low and behold he was headlining it with the full band. I was front row... Mind-blowing experience. Everyone felt it. Hairs standing up on me... He has something very rare, you can't find in most these "musicians" these days. And he slays whatever cover he does... Normally I don't like when covers are done, and I almost like his covers more than his originals! Lol. Watch one of his purple rain covers if you haven't yet. 🤯 IMO better than the original... That's laughable to say, especially when talking about prince... but it just might be true. This guy deserves serious recognition, but as long as he can earn a good living from it I think that's all that matters to him... It's easy to see and say that he's in it for the music... Rich or broke he would be doing the same thing!

When I first this on the radio I thought the vocals sounded like Rival Sons until I heard an interview where he said that he drew inspiration from Michael Jackson for his vocals. Being older than dirt, I came from a time where there was less studio "magic" so I always like to listen to live tracks since they will show what the studio hides. Call me impressed with Ayron Jones.
