All of that actually sounds like something you'd hear in a legend. A sacred patch of land at the literal corner of the world where deadly freezing wind blows and giant ancient creatures are constantly fighting each other

That is what I love about this game: a worldgen bug turns a region into a cursed region of legends, that could fit into any fortress story if you dare to embark there

I love how the evil weather options are like
-it’s raining mucus and your dwarves are upset
- It’s raining blood and your dwarves are upset
-It’s raining a poison that makes your dwarves dizzy and so they aren’t as useful as they should be
-it’s raining instant death liquid
(I know there are intermediate ones I just think the range is funny)
This is why i love DF - the infinite complexities that the world gen can throw up, and the wild stories we can carve from its raw rock

I still remember having a fort with wandering miasma that knocked out anything it touched (and it was a Large miasma); I can't imagine dealing with a seemingly instant and invisible force like this.

I'm trying to import your save file but my DF can't see the region folder after downloading the file. What version of DF are you running?
The beta branch. 51.01 beta.
There is a bug. Surprise, surprise. 15-20 years it will get fixed. Maybe
DF bugs are just surprise features.
@@TheJoshman01 turns out the real features were the bugs we found along the way.
