So in intro we see the girl on a bridge, and we all know what that implies. She cries and feels depressed. Then the MV switches to her class when the teacher gets in class. At *0:56* we can see she writes with *right* hand, so she is *right-handed* . Also another *detail* is that she is the only one wearing a sport uniform, and also the only one having headphones and not listening to the lesson. This shows how she is different and rebellious. Usually rebelliousness comes from desire to be noticed, to count. So she probably feels she is anonymous and that nobody cares about her. But then the teacher notice her and pats her head. This probably makes her fall in love with him. A scene that may not look important, but I think it is, is at *1:49* . He is in classroom, in a high place and far away from her. I think that from here on starts the confusion for the viewers. We can see than seems a developing friendship between her and the teacher. He finds out about her cut marks ( *2:15* ), then they start to spend time together. The most important *details* are at *2:52* . We can see the girl writing. She is not writing in her diary, but she is writing a story. But here comes the *crucial detail* : she holds the pen with *left* hand, so here she is *left-handed* . What is also peculiar is that the author name that usually lies in *right* side is also on *left* side. On a closer look we can see that in fact, this is a *mirrored image* (check *Hubba Bubba* , which is mirrored). From here we can understand that all that happened between her and the teacher was in fact just her *imagination* and she wrote this into a story that is called *흔들리며 피는 꽃* , which means *The flower which grows as it dances to the wind* . In my point of view, he slapping her solidifies that their friendship was only her *imagination* , because knowing she is hurting herself and caring about her (enough to spend time and to get close to her) he wouldn't have slapped her. The ending shows her on rooftop with her wrist cut again ( *5:21* ), and it is her *left* wrist, meaning this is the *reality* . The ending is an open one, as some interpreted it that she got better, because she smiles, while others interpreted it as she is going to jump. But the way I see it, the *wound* is still *bleeding* , so she is still *hurt* . Then she looks *down* , implying that she will jump. Anyways, this is such a wonderfully done MV. The fact that it can generate so many debates and interpretations shows only that it is truly a masterpiece. ❤️
At 02:52 we can see what is inside the book and it seems to be cynical thoughts and evil drawings (like choping heads that are hanging etc) The teacher found it and didn't like it and he reprimended her I don't know what happened afterwards but I guess even if she lost the teacher, she is happier now But I agree the ending is confusing I wish they would explain more
i don't really know if she's happy, because she's cutting herself again, she have badage with blood on her wrist. Maybe she is just pretending to be happy
