Leo & Heather..Your video was outstanding..The memorial was a great representation of the Hatfield & McCoy family Fued ..I've always been interested in the history and the both of you do a GREAT job..Please keep up the work u have been doing..Thank you D & C
This is a beautiful site in Kentucky. Although I live in KY, I have no clue where Blackberry is located. It certainly sounds like a really historic place to visit. I am going to add this site to my "bucket list." Thank you for such an awesome story Leo. You always do such a great job. Both you and Heather are a breath of fresh air on RUclips.
That was remarkably nice to be laid out like that both sides of the story and oh God those fish I'd like to hook into one thank you Leo for all you do for us
This vlog had the wow factor!! The architect did a fantastic job for the monument and kept the story in an even -steven manner! I am amazed at this monument! Thank you to our dynamic duo, Heather and Leo!!!Do you have any idea how well you do this job?? Love all vlogs you do!!! We followers are blessed to have you here on utube!!!!
Leo Very sorry for the loss of your fishing buddy, that is a shock running upon his grave! Thanks Leo for sharing this, that is an awesome idea of the way they displayed it. You and Dan need to sneak and hide one night, at the end of that pond and each one hook a carp and let them race each other to the other end ha ha ha! You did an awesome job narrating the history of the feuds! God Bless you and Heather, that takes work! (Glen) WV.
Hence the popular saying, "... what in the name of Sam Hill... " That is one of the coolest monuments depicting the Tug River with Kentucky and West Virginia either side and the plaques!
As always you and Heather do an awesome job of telling the history of that area. Thank you for all the work you both do to bring us the story ofnthe Hatfields and McCoys. I'm so sorry for the loss of your fishing buddy and you having to find out the way you did. Keep up the good work.
Great video, guys. This one was special. As usual, ya'lls colabertive efforts were great. And yes Leo, I agree, this would've been a terrific 1st of the fued series. Nothing wrong with the way ya'll did the other videos. Either way, it was fantastic. Either end of the story would be great. First as preview, last as recap. Again Either way, ya'll did a great job. The stories was what brought Mr to the channel, content, presentation, research, and final result is what hooked me, made me subscribe. Now, the commitment to pursuit of a story, present all the known facts is what keeps me coming back for every story. Ya'll do a fantastic job on every video. God bless ya'll for what you do, and I certainly hope ya'll keep doing it for a long time. Stay safe out on the road getting these stories.
The sound of the children playing in the background just made the video that much better. When you study these events it is all to easy to forget that everyone involved was once some mothers children playing in the yard.
When I was youngMy grandpa Hatfield stood up at the cemetery and said if u look to the left of blue springs hollor on the mountain there is a bunch of pine trees asa was killed at a cave there
Very very cool!! I just love your videos. Years ago my son is now nearly 25 but when he was 2 my husband was in the military. One of our neighbors his last name was Hatfield. I never got a chance to ask him if he was related. Very nice dude. Even stranger 6.months later flying home for xmas was seated next to me was a McCoy who played professionally hockey.for the Flyers. If id had more nerve back then id asked if they were related.
Hi Heather and Leo, I'm just watching this episode now , I watch each and every one of your episodes. I'm just a little behind, but I just want to thank Leo so much for continue to read all of those plaques. I thought for sure that he might stop after the first line and I was praying that he would keep going and he did. Thank you so much! Leo, you rock! I'm so grateful. Take care guys. God bless. Love you guys
I found your channel trying to learn more about my dads side of the family. Sid i believe is my great great great uncle. Not sure how many greats are suppose to be there lol
That wall representing the Tug river, with those placks in that particular order, was supercool! It is interesting, how family lore, about a particular event, can take a lot of different twists and turns, like where Asa was killed. Great video, thank you very much Leo and Heather. Take care. 😀
Devil Anse patriark of the Hatfield Gang. I do believe this is one thing besides the civil war that started the feud history says that Devil Anse in 1863 deserted his post and Randall McCoy never forgave him for that cause most of the unit was killed except the very few that was captured but I think this killing that Leo is talking about is the one that really started it or at least stocked the fires but me and my kids love watching your videos keep up the good work we need more people to teach real history.
It’s a great day when the Hillbilly’s post a video!!!😎💪🇺🇸🙏
Thank you so much for reading all the stories. Yall are so amazing.

What a great memorial. Somebody had their 💩 together. Thanks for a great story 👍🇺🇸
Please take us to one of those caves
😳😲 wow! Huge ol fish!!!!
Hello Leo my name is Bryan and I'll be your not so local viewer today!
lol
Leo my family lives straight up that hollow it's Blue springs and that the old blackberry elementary school
That spot used to be a good bass pond when I was little
The cematary on the hill is where my great great grandpa constable Floyd Hatfield is buried with his mom and dad
Logan Wildcats were one tough group!
In the movie about the Hatfield's and McCoys, they show Asa Harmon McCoy was hiding in a shed and not a cave. 🤔
Exactly!! lol
thats cool thank u
❤❤🎉😊

I can't remember if I asked you this or not, but did Devil Anse and Randall McCoy ever meet after the feud ended or become cordial with one another?
No. Devil Anse said late in life that he forgave Randal. Randal on the other hand, said he hopes Devil Anse burns in hell...
@@thehillbillyfiles wow!
A.whole lot of misery played out there
Those are grass carp. That's what keeps that lake. All pretty early pawn. They eat all that allergy and stuff
You've got a typo (algae, not allergy) lol. But you are absolutely spot on. Grass carp are a bit of a fun fight sometimes too
I wonder if the children we hear playing are descendents
I was hoping you were going to the cave where Asa was killed.
William anderson was a bit ofa devil himself
Me too
