- An old video that we didn't upload at the time because we always had something more interesting to upload... but I figured rather than just scrapping it, may as well put it up now in case anyone enjoys it.

what a beautiful track, those elevation changes are insane
Very nice driving and great track, recently ordered my M235i after looking at all types of cars from RS3 Focus RS, etc. and getting it in March 2016 cannot wait currently drive a 370Z roadster so felt good progression to this..
Your driving is getting bloody good Chris. Great video I enjoyed it.
wow. Such a nice track. very technical. It's like a mountain pass
RB26 likeaboss yeah one part of it is called "the mountain" lol
Great video!
Nice video, glad you didn't scrap it! Bet the mountain isn't as fun in this as it is on a bike though!
D4n46 lol nah definitely not. Although I used to always worry I was going to flip over backwards on a bike going over that thing lol don't think I ever went full throttle over it
Cadwell Park is such a cool track, like a mini version of the Nordschleife. Any plans for a track day in Germany in the future?
M-Gruppe.net yeah its fun - I did a lot of bike track days at Cadwell but only done 2 car track days there. We were planning to go to Nurburgring some time but no idea if that will ever actually get arranged.
DedicationBlog You've already achieved so much that I'm positive you will get that arranged as well :)
Don't see much of the M235i on here any more Chris
Talon276 well I figure most people think its kind of boring compared to the 86 and R8 lol its my sensible daily driver car after all, so we don't generally use it go do anything interesting in
Maybe you can attach your camera to the driver's or passenger's windwow, from the inside of course. Pointing at you and the front, this might give that sense of speed that's missing.
open up the steering sooner on that drifty corner and run wider on exit.
can you please tell me what mount you are using here for your camera please?
also did you get an alignment on your M235i or was it stock and how were the brakes?
(reason I'm asking is i just bought an M135i and am doing a trackday at Cadwell in a couple of weeks.
cheers
Did you ever think about the A45 AMG when looking for a daily driver? DedicationBlog
Need to go again soon!
Maybe not in the R8, one crashed today..
xDAAAZEx damn, I was just thinking I might go there in the R8 soon lol
chris, ever thought about any m performance parts on the m235i?
Just curious, do you turn off the traction control when you track. - I never went but I hoping to begin sometime this year.
+Tom Lee I turned mine off within 2 laps of doing my first track day in an /M
It's really, really intrusive!
Nice driving! Which race track is this? I need to go there some time.
***** Cadwell Park... As it says in the Title :)
What tyres? PSS? stock suspension?
Dude in one of your videos you talked about the 570s but what do you think about the 540c i think you could definitely afford it
MrMentalz2 how do you know how much I can afford ;) haha I think a lot of people don't realise that even if I sold all 3 of my cars (which I wouldn't do anyway, I'd only be selling the R8) I wouldn't have enough for a 540C. But yeah if I was going to get one, I'd probably get the 540C over the 570S, as there's very little difference but the 540C is about £20K cheaper.
Do you have the LSD?
im looking for a saloon car, but i need an automatic since my disability limits what i can drive since i need it adapted, what would you recommend?
It's pretty quick isn't it.
***** its not bad, just doesn't feel very quick once you get to the higher gears (more so than most cars I've driven). Basically its great under about 100 mph but above that it starts to struggle a little, but that's fine for most people and street driving
I don't think it does to be honest, much better than the 4 cylinder competition. Besides most cars do feel slower beyond 100-120+ as everything is fighting against the car, head-wind, drag etc..
