These are all so nice! And as an old person: just wear them. I have been wearing princess dresses, pirate outfits and whatever. Society isnt real. Get some friends who will escort you or who want to join in and enjoy safety in numbers. Wearing a good pair of boots under anything is an amazing defense system. You can kick or step on toes and run away.

Just imagine paying for your coffee as your lift your arm, your cloak moves to reveal a pouch hanging by your side that nobody would have guessed, a relatively chiselled or curved or slender body underneath (again, a complete mystery to all around) and you produce coin and then everything dissapears underneath a solid fabric wall once more.

I made my own Pirate outfit just so I can feel like myself. A lot of people asked me why I was wearing a costume, I just responded with, “cuz I feel like it.” Wearing the outfit makes me feel confident, and more like myself!

About the strawberry dress made of that stars and moon tule fabric: Get out of my head! HAHAHA. I went looking for different tules on the internet to recriate a Strawberry dress for myself and that was the one I choose. BUT in the end I didn't make the dress. To much work, to expensive, so I ended up doing a blouse/top based on the top part of the original strawberry dress BUT IN CROCHET. That came out really nice. And about the cape with the flowers fabric....here an idea: Look for long vests or kimono types of clothing. They can also be really nice in fantasy vibes and would be really pretty in that flowers fabric. And it would be more modern and useable too.
I was gonna say dragon witches because I have an obsession with that idea, but then my mind went to dragon girls/babes in a rock band with a goth esthetic, but those are character design things and not outfits. I do look forward to any future fashion and clothes design you do since I find it fun to look at and I personally think I suck at designing outfits.

the mccall's M6819 pattern is somewhat similar to your "steampunk fantasy coat" i think with a little modification you could absolutely bring it to life

The designs you did based on the fantasy nonsense coat- especially the blue one with the fabric you found as the corset top is BEAUTIFUL. I also think the leather (?) gauntlets are a nice touch bc I am obsessed with that random fantasy core stuff along with the cottagcore life. And the pastel space gown is just to die for. I own a sewing machine but somehow lost the pedal so I'd have to get a new one and then learn how to sew but good God I want these clothes. Who cares if they're practical. As a former theater kid I have transcended beyond the 'what would people think if I wore this' that some people get hung up on. Great video!
Since my mom is learning to sew, I originally asked her to make me a waistcoat. But that was too difficult, so we decided on a cloak. We eventually found this awesome navy plush astrology fabric from Joanne's and a gold satin lining, so once my mom is able to create a mockup for reference, I'll be getting a cloak! I've also decided to learn to sew, so I can finally make peasant blouses and my own clothes
Dyeing your fabric to make a gradient works pretty well but it kinda depends on the material itself, if I were you I'd choose natural fibers because they are the easiest to work with and breathable. For the strawberry top maybe stitching on droplet beads would be faster and still look really nice? Glass beads have a perticulary nice finish imo. Also if I wasn't a burned out costume making student I'd already be pattering that coat, it looks amazing.

I've been playing around with the idea of a solar punk outfit but make it with living air plants - if you'd ever consider doing a concept of that. Or jester bounding outfits would be cool. There's an artist, Slocotion, that makes the cutest wild little jester/clown dolls that avoid being too creepy lol. You could totally design a dagger embroidery pattern and have it made! I think there should also be more dagger/sword pendant jewelry that is also a thread cutter.
I was scrolling on youtube and saw the thumbnail thinking "ooh id wear those outfits and its a cute art style!" and two minutes in Ive already subscribed, the dagger microphone is the best thing ive ever seen in my entire life
The mushroom skirt seems to be the easiest. I love your nature inspired ideas and how you are like the only one who takes into consideration that the real world is outside our doors and since I have to work "Out There", I too need practical magic ;p How I would go about it: Red cloth, Tulip Color Shot orange to add gradient, white" petticoat" layers, white fabric paint for spots. Piecing fabric together is historically correct so similar red fabrics pieced into a skirt would lend to the color variations that happen with mushrooms. Keep creating!

You know what I'd love to see. Is something like a poncho [with the arms] type outfit that looks fairly cape like, but also has the fantasy aesthetic that's just enough to fit in with modern ideals. Something not too bulky. Feel like one of those you could add a ton of fun designs like the 3D flowers [perhaps one lacy and see through], or very brown typed like a mushroom esque one. Would totally pay to have something like that. Love ponchos.

I think it would be really cute to put a very ruffled trim right on the inside hem of the mushroom skirt/shorts as well for the white frill underside of a musroom. I also think that sew on glass gems would be really cute for the strawberry seeds too!

If you're looking for a custom fabric print Spoonflower has some really cute designs (or you could make your own!) the only thing is they're not cheap. I don't think they have tulle, but they do have chiffon that I've bought that was a good quality. I LOVE your designs and you're inspiring me to work on my own designs. About to go look for sunflower fabric to get some good summer vibes going.

You know what I'd love to see. Is something like a poncho [with the arms] type outfit that looks fairly cape like, but also has the fantasy aesthetic that's just enough to fit in with modern ideals. Something not too bulky. Feel like one of those you could add a ton of fun designs like the 3D flowers [perhaps one lacy and see through], or very brown typed like a mushroom esque one. Would totally pay to have something like that. Love ponchos.

I think it would be really cute to put a very ruffled trim right on the inside hem of the mushroom skirt/shorts as well for the white frill underside of a musroom. I also think that sew on glass gems would be really cute for the strawberry seeds too!

If you're looking for a custom fabric print Spoonflower has some really cute designs (or you could make your own!) the only thing is they're not cheap. I don't think they have tulle, but they do have chiffon that I've bought that was a good quality. I LOVE your designs and you're inspiring me to work on my own designs. About to go look for sunflower fabric to get some good summer vibes going.
