This is an amazing display you've put together and has given me heaps of inspiration for a comic accurate x-men and x-force display I'm currently working on collecting as a relatively new collector.
Love the channel by the way and look forward to future uploads.
I did my 4 X-Teams on your other video. I use X-Factor and X-Force as their original concepts; X-Factor as a public face and X-Force as the hardcore infiltration and Strike Force!
That’s the best dynamic for those two teams!
For X-Factor, I simply use popular or photogenic Mutants.
Havoc - looks like All American boy
Polaris - Model looks
Angel - millionaire popular with the social crowd
Beast - former Avenger, best friend of a movie star, also respected scientist
Dazzler - popular entertainer
Strong Guy - respected 'bodyguard of the stars'
Forge - respected Inventor, also a millionaire
Emma Frost/White Queen - respected Educator, Heiress, Model looks
Longshot - his powers make it impossible to dislike him
There job is to take on missions that will show Mutants in a positive manner! That's really not as hard as it sounds. Publicly taking on drug dealers and scumbags. Even though I have been reading comics since 1964, the Mutant hatred never made much sense to me when other, highly loved heroes like the Avengers and Fantastic Four looked weirder than most Mutants. On top of that, when they were Avengers, almost nobody said Jack about Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch, and Beast! Beast walked down the street with Wonder Man and nobody batted an eye! Beast went to Society parties and nobody said anything! So, IMO it's only a few loud mouths causing all the trouble.

Great video, glad to see I'm not the only one whose figures need a little dusting. Cheap makeup brushes are great for dusting... just need to buy some LOL
Oh yeah the dusting is a constant issue. Great idea on the make up brushes!
The can's are a great idea. I've been using "Ferro Roche" boxes as risers. (Sombody in my household as a sweet tooth) it works fairly well. Loving that X-Factor/X-Force collection. Well played sir.

Multiple man and shatter star are the only ones im missing. Passed on both of them SOOOO many times. Regret it very much.

can't wait for the rest of the crew, for that X-Men/ X-Factor vs. X-Force X-cutioner's Song fight in display....yeah just checked Multiple Man on eBay, $80 is hefty..there's an extra head for sale, its just Bucky Cap I think anyway, maybe you can kitbash one til Hasbro re-releases
Man Stryfe would be an essential addition to those live ups but he’s even more expensive than Multiple man!
Another good video Dave! No telling if Hasbro will ever do Wolfsbane in her X-Factor suit, so I'll just have to put her in her New Mutants look. For me, my perfect X-Factor team is: Havok, Polaris, Strong Guy, Multiple Man, Wolfsbane, Quicksilver, Forge, Siryn, Val Cooper, and Doc Samson.
I totally agree with that line up. Hopefully we’ll see those missing guys soon!

Thanks so much Christopher, I really appreciate the technical advise as that's not something I'm strong on. I record audio directly on to my iphone but i'll experiment with a separate mic!
No problem! It helps sort out the b's and p's, keeps them from having a loud bass-y response on the recording.

I'm sorry if this is a bit off topic but I got a little question. I recently got into legends and made my display today, it's not finished but good for now. Every once in a while a figure falls over, is this just something I gotta get used to or is there a way to fix this and make them more sturdy? Also loved the video, keep on going!

You’re absolutely right. I don’t think I’ll build the Greg team. I sold Psylocke and Phantomex when I got the Nimrod pack and I’ll probably sell Domino when I get the 90’s one. I only have so much space!

I know it sucks to pull figures from your display, but if you're so inclined, you can kit bash those characters, (like Rayhne on the Night Nurse body) to fill out your pictures or displays...

A cheap way to make stands:
What you need;
Plastic lids and Play-Doh
Optional;
Gravel or pebbles or plastic rocks, pieces of plastic trees, extra guns, robot parts or other things for decoration.
How to:
Take a plastic lid, cream cheese, Allouette, Borsan etc for small figures, if doing a large figure like Thanos you may have to go all the way up to a butter lid. Take Play-Doh, any color is good, I use Green a lot to simulate outdoors. Line the inside of the lid with as much Play-Doh as needed to pose the figure in the desired pose. Decorate as you wish.
Note; you can also cut and shape the lid if you want.
Small plastic lids are everywhere, Play-Doh is pretty inexpensive. If it dries out and cracks, replace it! You can seriously make your own stands for almost nothing!

Yeah, 3 Multiple Man figures would be a solid number to have for your team... Do like I did and just hit them one at a time as you're able... I'm still seeing them around at fairly decent prices, considering ofcourse, BUT they are starting to creep ever upwards...
For Wolfsbane, I used the Kitty Pryde body from the Juggernaut wave(?), instead of the Moonstar body, UNTIL we get a dedicated Wolfsbane/Feral repaint for BOTH teams... That way she looks more X-Factor-ish than New Mutants...
We still need a figure for Random (they could easily repaint/retool for Daredevil villain Bushwhacker), a civilian Val Cooper/(aka Classic Mystique, which we DO have), which as far as I'M concerned, finishes my X-Factor (v.2) team.
X-Factor 1.0, on the other hand...? We STILL NEED THAT red costume Jean Grey, with the big gold "X", to complete the Walt Simonson era X-Factor (and I wouldn't complain about a Haslab project to get us a SHIP playset/base for either X-Factor OR Apocalypse HQ...). We already have Cyclops, Iceman, Archangel, and Beast, so we're JUST waiting on Hasbro to get the stick outta their collective @$$#$ and release her already, so we can COMPLETE that team...! (Unfortunately, I'll need to pick up a second Archangel to display with my Jim Lee X-Men team once that happens...)
As for X-Force... Deadpool's first appearance was the New Mutants/pre-X-Force books, so yeah, why not!
Sunspot is Roberto 'Berto DaCosta, btw, so you were really close, lol...! Aside from a new Cannonball, basically, we just need Feral to complete the core team, I think...
However, you MAY want to rethink your displays by doing an X-Factor v.1 & v.2 shelf, and then an X-Force/New Mutants shelf, so you could just include Majik, Dani Moonstar, Karma, Wolfsbane, Warlock (BAF), Douglocke/Cypher (simple head swap of either blonde Ben Reilly - Scarlett Spider, or Johnny Storm, onto the Deadpool X-Men body from the Sauron wave, and remove the "X-Men" from the chest, maybe add a pouch belt?), and a Magma figure eventually, unless you kitbash one like I did... To complete both teams in your displays, until proper versions come out. Just a suggestion, obviously, considering that I don't know how many of those you do or don't have, thought I'd mention it.
An Excalibur team... would be good too... So, HASBRO... WE NEED A Rachel , Shadowcat w/ Lockheed & Widget head, Meggan, (an old school Captain Britain would be nice), Kylun, and an evolved Widget with a gateway piece that the v.1 Widget head plugs into...

Man Shane, so many fantastic points! I love the idea of X-Factor V1 and 2. I wish I had Mystique so I could include her an Sabretooth in the mid 90’s version.

I wasn't gonna get that Sunspot cause I was holding out hope we'd get his and Sunspots costumes from when they officially joined the main X-Men Team. But I wanted to have all the Strong Guy BAF pieces and it seems clear that Hasbro was serious about completing the 90s incarnations of the team. Come on Feral and Wolfsbane, a lot of same mold just a different head and costume...
wasn't Dani Moonstar part of X-Force for a hot minute, in a skimpy outfit that wasn't really a uniform.
