Sweet industrial looking! Very premium look about the fans. I had that manufacturers use proprietary connectors/ designs / motherboards etc as it locks you into a specific brand product line and limits flexibility.
You should pull the rubber parts in 08:25 further out till the retention feet pop out through the holes. It will not work in the sloppy status shown in this video.
I wouldn't get this or the ARGB version. Instead I would wait for Cooler Master to release their Mobius or PL-Flux fan. Those use a quieter sleeve bearing and have a wider rpm range including a 0-rpm mode that the SF120M lacks. Will probably also be a lot cheaper.
Ok no RGB then there isn't a good fan 😁 Jokes aside great review, that proprietary cable (seems JSTM?), I don't know why anyway the performance seems to be ok And, ok the box but a lot of nonsense accessories 😅
In a couple of weeks we’ll have a video about the RGB version, should add at lest 2-3fps per LED. Possible. I’m unsure if it has a real name, though i’ve seen something similar on other fans here and there

Absolutely!, on both points.
I would have preferred to just have standard 4-Pin PWM, makes many things easier
Does the outer fan blade rim actually do anything?
Ive been using these for over a year, even quieter than my noctua industrialPPC F12s
Noctua Industrials are usually not the best example to compare the noise ^^
But these were able to keep up suprisingly well to Noctua’s nf-a12

Those are not proprietary connectors. They are standard wire to board connectors. Looks like JST-PH

great intro :)
Thanks! I hope you enjoyed the rest too though 😅
Unless that's the same plug used for GPU fan headers, I'm out. Proprietary stuff can burn in a fire.
