I may be able to explain the pant "tuck" situation. As a shorter guy most pants are longer than they should be for me, instead of hemming them or cutting them I just send it. I also skate in high top shoes and that is just the way the pants end up laying. Tucked behind the tongue but over top of the ankle part. Not saying it looks cool but it may explain the picture. Keep doing your thang, love the content.
Yeah my smaller homie has this issue as well. Dude is 5'4 and many of the pants he wants to buy just aren't sized to fit his short and small frame, so he buys a couple sizes up, tucks the pants and sometimes the shirts if they're too baggy.
éS is and has been my top teir for a loooong time. The salba rereleases, the return of the quattro, the silo, the new quattro slim that I gotta pick up. Brand is true to its core and quality just keeps getting better tbf And tbf, adidas friggin kills it too. As much as I love eS, nothing is more comfortable than adidas. The buesenitz and tyshawn are just exceptional shoes and then when you skate in them its just 👌👌👌👌👌
Straye should be B tier at least; I’ve skated the suede slip ons and have seen they have a similar suede high top, and I’ve been super satisfied with the durability/flick! Most of their designs suck, but they have some solid colors (mostly black) available

I'd sort Straye into 2 categories: skate shoes and hype shoes. The skate shoes (the ventura, the converse hi top clone) are actually pretty solid for the price. They break in quick and need a better insole, but quality wise you're not gonna find a better shoe for 65 bucks or less
The converse cons high top at 1:43 is actually a remaster of one of converses basketball shoes which used to be called converse cons before they made skateboarding shoes.
Skaters did do that with their shoes and laces in the early-mid 00s. It was kinda dumb because they didn't stay on that well when skating most times but skaters absolutely did wear them like that like 15 years ago and skated them that way.

I'm wearing out my Accel Slims so I can replace them with Accel OGs. I am a whore for puffy Accels. I'm just glad I can skate in the same shoes I grew up skating in again and I'm at the point where I think it's just best to choose something and stick with it. I've got several different shoes these days and it feels like switching around too much is killing my feet because of the lack of consistency in the arches/sole support and so many soles are vulcanized bullshit...who the fuck decided to introduce that to an impact sport like skating? I'm 6'4" and around 220lbs right now, so I need the cupsoles to deal with extra weight. Puffy cupsoles, loose trucks, & soft wheels for liiife.
CONS are definitely B-tier, at best. They fucked over tons of team riders, have questionable quality control, and straight up have not honored contractual payments for shoe royalties (looking at Anthony Poppalardo).
