If you’re trying to become the Anthony Fantano of skateboarding I think it’s working! Your tone, taste, and attention to detail really make the channel stand out.
Also Emerica has the greatest slip ons of all time…. The Wino is amazing, especially with the additional height in the back to support and protect your ankle more than any other slip on I’ve had
OMG they look so fucking good! I just hate the fallen logo placement and the geometry a little bit. Also when you see an independent tee, do you think of the german army?
I actually got some fallen Tremont mids, bc I don't like how high tops feel and I feel very exposed wearing lows, so I try to look for mids with what brand I'm looking to buy,and tbh I never got fallen shoes until now. I always just went with vans. My last vans left like a sore around my small toe area so that was the last straw for me. These have a removable strap and I use it to tighten up the top. I wear 13 in u.s size and have a bit of a wide foot, and those are just wide enough to give me room where I'm comfortable. So far so good.
Don't you think that is kinda weird that the louie lopez or Shane's are too simple for gifted hated, but at the same time; the last resort shoes are like a piece of art for him, and that is because of the simplicity of the design? IDK I could agree in a way, they are very simple shoes to be a pro-model but that is not a good reason to talk down on them, since maybe those pro-skaters feel the same way as gifted hater feels, about skate shoe design these days
Cyrus and max were definitely the only reason I ever picked up blazers and how well they skated is why I rocked them for so long but making the jump to Last Resorts after Mason Silva blew blazers up was a decision I don’t regret
the Shane's skate similar to the Janoski, but they dont feel the same on your foot. Like the back half of the Shane is canvas on the standard ones so they flex really well. Other than that, the toe is a little wider which makes them more preferable to me, but thats the only real difference. Shane's also cost less but thats not always a guarantee.
@@mikem4314 This is exactly how I feel. I got the Sean Clivers at my local and I can’t even force myself to skate them. It’s the only pair I own so they’re my babies, and I just stick to skating my tyshawns lol.

I bought some axion majiks to support a local hawaiin shop just to wear around but I actually like skating them. Super comfy and surprisingly durable. Finally retired my Kalis ogs for them.
I was able to grab a pair of the nike dunk hi in the spartan green colorway and they're definitely my favorite looking pair of sneakers. The technology is kind of dated though, not much support.
Those red Axions are actually a slimmed down reissue of a shoe they released in the 90s. I bought the black Axions you ripped on because the local shop owner cut me a deal.there isn't any plastic on the toe cap. its just slightly textured, just enough to look different in the light. the shoes themselves actually feel pretty good on the feet but I still prefer to skate half cabs or sk8 hi's.
@@meltingspot1064 don't get me wrong I love the vans era but the vans era is usually made from canvas and is a way lower profile. It is more along the lines of a designer shoe it looks like a common project but in terms of a skate shoe it is different.
The dunk situation is absolutely terrible. You're never gonna be able to get them for retail and if you want to fork out the cash to pay resell you're not gonna want to skate them cause they cost a car payment.
I mostly agree with this list but I’m more partial to Adidas than you are, despite how repetitive the 3 stripes can be. Etnies/DC/éS have looked like shoes trapped in time to me over the years. They feel like the mandatory Tilly’s and Zumies store branded shoe to me.
