Forgot to mention the day and date did move in the second position, and the hands moved at the third position. It also started to run by shaking the watch to move the rotor around. So there was a movement in there. But this is a manual wind watch.
@@MountainStandardTime Well That’s why they call it the famous “Seiko Shake”, I usually run out the house to work in the morning and wind my Seiko in the subway to set the time, so as I walk to the station I guess the rotor starts the watch.

After my $1,200 disaster with the Seiko SDBC101 JDM, I've never considered another Seiko. A SARB035 I purchased a few years ago was also a dud.
🤣 they forgot to send the movement, na jokes aside I buy my Seiko shitters from Jomashop.
