    Hi guys. Great video. I use raw garlic mixed with raw ginger every morning and have done for the past two years. I have suffered with arthritis since I was 14 years old (I'm now 54) and have tried many different medicines over the years, none of which ever really worked, so I turned to garlic and ginger and it really does work. First thing in the morning, I chop 2 cloves of garlic and roughly the same amount of ginger and let it settle for around 10 mins to let the allicin produce. I then take a large spoon and simply gulp it down with plenty of water. You get used to it after a few times. This natural medicine has so many good qualities, it certainly works for me 😊

      @@susanm7354 Good for you, just chop it all up together and let it sit for 10 mins before taking it. When I first starting using garlic and ginger together I took it twice a day, once first thing in the morning and again around 6pm, however, after doing more research online I learnt that taking too much of these in one day was not good so I decided to stick to once a day. Am not completely sure that I needed to do that, as I felt fine taking it twice a day, but I thought better to play it safe. Would be interesting to know other peoples' thoughts on this subject...

    I woke up one morning with a toothache and swelling. I didn't want to make another doctor bill so I looked on the internet for home remedies for infection. It suggested garlic. I just happened to have a loaf of Parmesan/Garlic Bread from a bakery that I got from the food bank. I started eating some and discovered it had whole cloves of garlic baked into it. I finished it in 2 days and my swelling was gone and no infection returned. I have some digestive issues too and felt like the garlic had thinned my bile or caused my gall bladder to produce more. This was from garlic baked in bread and not raw so maybe you don't have to eat it raw to get the effects you desire.

      @IncrediblyHealthy  9 месяцев назад +1

      It's great to hear that you've seen positive changes in your diabetes management with raw garlic. However, the palpitations and acid reflux you're experiencing are important to note. It might be a good idea to discuss these symptoms with your healthcare provider to ensure that your approach to using garlic is safe and effective, especially since you're off medication now. Thank you for sharing your experience using garlic! 💚

    I freeze and keep my peeled uncrushed cloves of garlic in the freezer. Does it lose the ability to produce allicin when crushed after I take it out of the freezer? Thank you for answering.

    • @IncrediblyHealthy
      @IncrediblyHealthy  9 месяцев назад +5

      Good question! Freezing garlic won't impede its ability to create allicin later when crushed. The cold simply puts the alliinase enzymes to sleep temporarily. They'll wake up and convert alliin once the garlic thaws and gets chopped. So freezing is an effective way to have garlic's health benefits on standby!

      I observe it loses considerable potency when that airtight " wrapper "
      is removed.Nature / Great Spirit ( same thing ) packed it tightly for a reason ! It will keep for a long time UNrefrigerated
      & UN frozen, If you feel you must freeze it , much better to freeze it whole as occurs in Nature .....

    • @IncrediblyHealthy
      @IncrediblyHealthy  8 месяцев назад +1

      Absolutely, garlic has some amazing benefits, but let's be real, it can make you smell like garlic! Especially on hot days, that odor can really stick around. If it bothers you, try having garlic in the evening so the smell fades by morning, or think about garlic supplements for the perks without the scent. 💚

    Could you please tell us the time within which one should consume garlic after crushing/chopping?
    Some say that it takes 10 to 15 minutes to produce allicin after crushing.Please comment.

    • @IncrediblyHealthy
      @IncrediblyHealthy  7 месяцев назад

      Good point! The recommended time range is generally 10 minutes after chopping/crushing garlic before eating it or using it in cooking. This allows the allicin compounds to fully develop and deliver maximum health benefits. Thank you for asking!

    Does crushed garlic that is preserved in water and citric acid that is found in the bottle on the supermarket shelf, have the same medicinal benefits as just the regular raw garlic?

      The golden rule George, and especially these days, is to stay away from processed foods!!!

    • @IncrediblyHealthy
      @IncrediblyHealthy  9 месяцев назад +3

      Great question! Crushed garlic preserved in water and citric acid may retain some benefits, but it's not quite the same as fresh, raw garlic. Processing and preserving can reduce the potency of allicin, the key medicinal compound in garlic. For maximum health benefits, fresh, raw garlic is generally recommended.

      @IncrediblyHealthy  6 месяцев назад

      Sorry to hear the garlic hasn't done much for you after two years! The effects can vary quite a bit from person to person based on factors like overall diet and lifestyle habits. If you aren't seeing results, I'd recommend talking to a nutritionist or natural medicine practitioner who can help identify if there's anything preventing you from absorbing garlic's beneficial compounds. With expert guidance, you may be able to tweak your intake for better results. Don't give up hope yet on garlic's potential perks!
