However you can always provide a delay using delay function like delay(5000) for 5 seconds . Also I will try to make it using multiple sensors in future . So stay tuned . 👍🏻
Which Arduino board are you using ? In case you are using Arduino nano then select old bootloader option in tools . Else if you are using Arduino Uno , then try changing usb cable , or connect to different USB port . Make sure you select correct COM port in tools . If nothing works then use new Arduino Uno board 👍🏻
Thanks for checking out video 👍🏻 you can use 5 v battery directly in place of adapter . It should work . But make sure that battery provides 5V only . You can use 3 AA cells which will give you approximately 4.5 V and that should work . Give it a try and let us know .

This project uses Arduino Uno microcontroller for handling delays. You should make the project as it is as shown in video . Use good power supply.

Yes you can use any similar sensor. However not sure if you need to turn on Water pump if there is gas leakage. You can customize the code as needed.
